Coffee can be good for you, it is rich in antioxidants that help protect your cells and reduce inflammation, but too much can put a strain on both your mind and body, increase anxiety and disrupt your sleep.

IS YOUR PHONE A SOURCE OF PAIN?

Here are some simple tips to help improve your posture when using your phone.

1. Bring your phone up to you
Instead of dropping your head down, lift the screen closer to eye level. This reduces strain on your neck and upper back.

2. Take regular breaks
Every 10–15 minutes, look up, roll your shoulders, and reset your posture. Small breaks prevent long periods of tension building up.

3. Engage your core and sit tall
Whether you’re on the sofa, at your desk, or standing, think “tall spine.” A supported core reduces slouching and helps your body stay aligned.

Three common mistakes people make when they have back pain.

1. Waiting for it to “just go away.”
Back pain often improves with early assessment. Leaving it too long can allow small issues to become bigger ones.

2. Relying only on rest.
While a short period of rest can help, staying still for too long often makes stiffness and discomfort worse. Gentle movement—within comfort—supports recovery.

3. Ignoring everyday habits.
Poor posture, lifting badly, or sitting for long periods can keep the cycle of pain going. Small changes in daily routine make a noticeable difference.

If you’re experiencing persistent back pain, we recommend getting checked so you know what’s actually going on and can follow a clear plan to get better.
