👶🏻 New baby & birth story 👶🏻

It’s so exciting to hear of new babies being born as finding the time to send a message to your antenatal teacher certainly isn’t a priority!

Slides read:
“Hi Sarah, baby R arrived🥰 and he is truly perfect! I just wanted to say a big thank you to for your support antenatally, you really gave me the courage to trust my body and trust my preferences for labour. And it also gave E the confidence during labour too! 🙏🏼 We got to have our home water birth! And it all went so smoothly, the midwives that joined us were amazing, very calm and lovely, just there to observe, I had no examinations, they checked baby’s HR in the water with the Doppler so I didn’t need to get out at all, and they just gave me moral support, encouraged me to keep going when it got tough, checked my progress with a mirror from behind so I wasn’t aware of it most of the time. E and I both caught R together in the pool, and I delivered the placenta naturally only 10 mins after, meaning he was still attached to it as I had asked for optimal clamping. This was probably the most incredible thing I’ve ever witnessed, seeing the placenta and R still attached to each other, but on the outside of me! 😍 “

Twins are the price of a singleton when coming with one parent.
