A service taken for a lady, who at times had a difficult relationship with the deceased.
Whilst you may be considering a direct funeral, and there’s nothing wrong with that, a celebrant should also be able to navigate a somewhat chequered past, and deliver a service with honesty, dignity and respect, to help you to find closure, and say goodbye.

Sometimes when I ask a family if they would like a poem, they say their loved one wasn’t into poetry. But poems can express words that families struggle to say. A good celebrant should be able to choose poems that reflect this.

I’m thankful to do the job I do, and to work with others who have the same heart. To make sure a service is the best for a family, and delivered with compassion and respect. There’s a whole team often working behind the scenes, to make sure everything comes together on the day. I’m grateful to have met such lovely families x

To be able to say the families words in a service, is such a privilege, that I do not take lightly.
