It’s been a while since I’ve posted. Life gets busy and sometimes I feel some families comments are too personal to share. But this one made me cry… so I say to all those people in this industry, those on show and behind the scenes who truly care, I hope you all realise what a difference you make ❤️

“So often those around the griever rush to give support, cook a meal, send a card, call or visit immediately after the loss. Grievers appreciate all of that, yet also appreciate those who come by or call or visit for a cup of tea after the support has dwindled and most have gone back to their lives.
That is when the reality of the loss begins to set in for many and when support is harder to find.

They are thankful for those who stick around and continue to check in, spend time sharing memories, remember and truly listen to their friend or loved one who is grieving as time goes on. “

I had the honour of taking a service for a gentleman who passed away far too soon, at just 40 years of age. His family are understandably devastated, so for them to take the time to thank me, means so much. I cannot express in words, what a privilege it is, for me to do the job that I do ❤️‍🩹

I had the privilege of taking the service for a unique gentleman, where his daughter wrote and delivered a wonderful eulogy.
But even when a family member wishes to speak, putting together a service can seem daunting. As a fully qualified celebrant, training and experience allow me to guide a family through this process.
