Accessing tirzepatide (Mounjaro) for weight loss

Please see the below link from Kent & Medway Integrated Care Board detailing the current situation with regard to the prescribing of Mounjaro specifically for weight loss

Your general practice or hospital services will not be able to prescribe this medication to you for obesity until arrangements are in place.

Unfortunately due to a water leak at Eccles surgery, we do not have any running water or toilet facilities. We are working with our insurers to get this fixed as quickly as possible but until water supply is restored, we will not be able to offer any appointments there. We will do our best to rearrange any appointments already booked for as soon as possible and apologise for the inconvenience this will cause our patients.

We are running a Spring COVID booster clinic for the over 75's which will be on Friday 9th May at the Old School Hall, Bell Lane, Burham. We have filled all pre-booked slots but we will be providing an extra vaccinator to handle any walk-ins so if you haven't already booked your slot and want to have the jab, please come down between 10.00-11.30 on the day to the hall NOT the surgery. We are aware that at Eccles surgery, there is an issue with birds doing their droppings onto the handrails. I have written twice now to the landlord of the Red Bull pub whose trees overhang our property requesting that he gets these cut back as it's not nice for our elderly and immobile patients. As yet, I have had no reply. We apologise for this and will look to keep the handrails cleaned whilst we await to hear back from the pub landlord.
