We have an excellent rehabilitation programme for those who are suffering with Osteoarthritis or other health conditions such as; ME, MS, Fibromyalgia, Parkinson’s, Cerebral Palsy, Hypermobility, Pre and Post Joint Surgery, Pre, During and Post Cancer treatment or any other condition.

The Nuffield Health Joint Pain 12 week programme is designed to help individuals in the local community with osteoarthritis or other joint conditions to help manage joint pain without surgery through expert guidance and exercise.

It is part of our continued mission to improve the health and wellbeing of the nation.

Each week participants will have two sessions with a wellbeing expert in our gym and learn about the role of food, exercise, sleep and mental wellbeing in pain management.

Participants will have access to guides and an extensive offering of online articles throughout. They will also receive a free Health MOT before starting the programme and another at the end to show the progress.

Nuffield Health Joint Pain Programme

The Nuffield Health Joint Pain Programme is designed to help non members in the local community with osteoarthiritus manage joint pain without surgery through expert guidance and exercise.

It is part of our continued mission to improve the health and wellbeing of the nation.

Participants must be non members aged 45 or over and living with joint pain in their hips or knees for over 6 months. They also need to be located within 10 miles of our club.

What is the Joint Pain Wellbeing Programme?

Kettle Bells actually helped me rehabilitate my back injury from years ago by strengthening my explosive response with good technique and posture. Strengthening my whole body, even my core stability throughout each swing / movement.

With Kettle Bells you can easily work every plane of body movement (Sagittal, Frontal and Transverse), preventing yourself from back injuries because you are moving and working within your full planes of movement. We all seem to workout / move only in Sagittal, by only flexing and extending our body. We hardly twist or side bend. We all hear ‘Oh I hurt my back due to twisting to grab something from a kitchen cupboard’ well if we build and work our planes of movement with good posture it will help to prevent.
