I used to really struggle with switching off whilst on holiday and I’d get so frustrated with myself.

I used to put so much pressure on myself to relax and in fact that used to make matter worse. Then guess what…my skin, mood, energy levels all started playing up. Kind of goes against the whole point of a holiday!

Then I realised the issue was that I wasn’t happy with aspects of my life. Over the past few years I’ve worked hard at addressing these areas of my life and although I’ve still got some more work to do…I can already feel the benefits ❤️

My recent holiday was the real proof. Lying in the middle of the ocean on an inflatable without a care in the world.

So I guess my message to you is (without sounding too cliche!) - if something’s not making you happy - invest in yourself and start making changes to address it. Life is short. Life is precious 😘
