We’re pleased as a Centre to be able to make a donation to the Hungry Horse Toy Boxing Appeal 2025 🎁🎅🏻

Today our group had a look through everything we have collected or purchased so far and organised it ready for donating to the Anne Boleyn, Rochford 🎄

A special mention to Sam who gave £20 to the appeal for new art and craft kits 🎨🦄

A busy day for our Wednesday group!

This morning they worked well together to make and bake this years Christmas cake🧑‍🍳 and are now looking forward to decorating it in a few weeks time🎄

This afternoon they played the ‘Petition Pursuit’ board game as part of UK Parliament Week 2025 where they explored how Parliament works, why it matters to us and how it affects our everyday lives 🗳️

Our groups have started decorating the centre to make it feel all festive🎄and are busy creating Christmas displays which they can’t wait to share with you in the upcoming weeks 🎁

🟡 Children in Need 2025 🟡

Today our group had lots of fun doing different challenges in teams that included ‘Bear Pong’ 🏓 a scavenger hunt 👀🐤 and Pudsey’s 25 question quiz 🤔

We’ve also enjoyed following BBC Radio 2 presenter Sara Cox throughout the week, watching her marathon challenge and making a donation to BBC Children in Need 🏃‍♀️

Lest We Forget 🌺

This morning on Armistice Day, Tuesday 11th November we observed a two minute silence at 11am 🕚

We all took a moment to pause, remember and honour those who have been affected by war, both past and present 🪖

We’re very proud to have been included and involved in such a brilliant project 🤩🧶🌺

This Roll of Honour celebrates everyone who donated poppies and chains to Poppies on the Pier. Knitters, crocheters, community groups, and volunteers from across the world, each name represents a stitch in our shared story of remembrance.
