Working with my client who has an autism diagnosis, over a considerable amount of time has been an enriching experience that has deepened my understanding of their perspective. I've gained valuable insights that will enable me to provide more effective support to other neurodiverse clients, and I've had the pleasure of watching my client grow in confidence, communication, and overall well-being. Today I witnessed my client's elation on learning that their Autism Assessment application was finally processed after years of perseverance, marking a life-changing turning point following 30 years of struggles. Their childhood diagnosis was discouraged by a professional who at the time claimed a label would hinder their future life rather than giving them self acceptance & validation and the support and understanding they have so desperately needed !!!!

I was fascinated to learn that people who connect with nature, like noticing this raindrop on a branch during a walk, will never feel isolated, for the natural world is their constant companion and a source of healing and comfort🌿.
