☀️ Summer 2025 ☀️
This year was a little different for me. Being self-employed has its benefits, but when it comes to the kids having 6 weeks off school, it certainly is a juggling act.
I can honestly say my boys were incredible this year. They totally understood that I had to work & Noah stepped up in looking after Teddy for a few hours in the days when I felt like I was spinning all the plates. I managed to rearrange some of my clients, meaning I was able to work condensed hours.
What I realised was that it really made me appreciate my time off with them. Instead of trying to fill each day with activities, we really invested ourselves into the days we were together.
The best part was ny working the whole of the summer, I was able to take the last week off and treat my family to a last-minute spontaneous holiday in Turkey. We had the most amazing time & it proved to me that being spontaneous is really good for me ✌🏻
I read a book, ate the most amazing foods, drank frozen cocktails, and had a whole week off strength training.
And flying from was an absolute dream! Being able to walk to the airport has set the bar high for future holidays!
Hope you all had a wonderful summer and are enjoying being back to routine! ###
