A bit about us: Training By Liberty was created because my teaching experience of other courses and awarding body material was that it had 2 fundamental flaws.
1. Anyone was allowed on the course, because it was about bottoms on seats and numbers and 100% achievement
and
2. They did not prepare counselling students to be out in the real world and work as a professional therapist.

Having taught all the major awarding body courses and having been given the opportunity to explore what was needed I set about designing a course that 1. would have small, select classes and 2. would include safeguarding training, risk assessments, preparing to work online, exploration of trainees own philosophy

It would be delivered by hardworking, passionate and practising therapists who upheld the personal moral qualities required for professional counselling and particularly humility, identity and integrity.

And then, to top that all off the course was then recognised as a professional qualification for Counsellors by the NCPS, so the hard work was rewarded.

So excited to have our Training by Liberty students getting back in the classroom this week and always delighted to be welcoming new students studying with us for the first time.
