My decision to become a PL Affiliate came out of the blue …
I received an invitation to a virtual PL launch party by a dear friend and ex-work colleague who I’ve known for the best part of 15 years. At first I must admit I was a little dismissive; I don’t know why, but this didn’t stop me from being thrilled for my friend and I wanted to show my support, so I made a mental note of the date and time of the upcoming event. Plus, I was drawn to find out more about the PL products, mainly because I used to consult for a similar type business about 25 years ago and I really enjoyed the experience. That company is no longer in operation. Once I saw the PL products being demonstrated by the PL Affiliates with so much information and passion, I became drawn by the beautiful imagery of the products and the creation of that feel-good factor shared with family and friends. From that moment I was hooked! And because aspects of the brand were familiar, I felt comfortable; I could see the opportunity, I began to picture myself being more than a regular customer, I wanted in! This is how my PL journey began. I’ve come to realise that the notion, to be my own boss has always been attractive to me and have branched out a few times only to veer back to the security blanket of working for an organisation. Now I am at a time in my life that my children are grown; well two out of three! I feel entitled to follow my dreams and not settle for less. I want to be my own boss and make my work, work around me and my life… I call the shots! The right time is now! I genuinely think that my academic and work- based achievements and experiences that have shaped my life, have led me to this point. I am pumped up and excited to be part of a wonderful, welcoming and supportive PL Business Community, which is a confidence builder and allows my creative nature to flourish, giving a sense of satisfaction and joy. I also love helping people to feel good, because that’s what living should be about.
