Seed gathering continues with Betony (Betonica officials) a member of the Lamiaceae family (mint)
A medicinal plant with many ailments being treated with Betony. And a very documented history of use dated back to 13th century, Being used by Druids, written about and used by Nicolas Culpepper in the 17th century. It can also be used as a very good dye plant.

The Apple mint flowers attract these flies feeding and pollinating but that in turn attracts Hornets. 3 were hunting around the Mint too fast to get good views of them, but interesting to watch.
