🍕 Pizza Making Afternoon at The Willows 🍕

Things got a little cheesy at The Willows today as everyone became a pizza chef for the afternoon! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Residents had great fun creating their own delicious pizzas, choosing tasty toppings like pepperoni, mozzarella, and fresh tomatoes. There were lots of laughs, a bit of mess, and plenty of creativity along the way!

Our Wellbeing Team were on hand to help… although they ended up in a right mess with the marinara sauce! 🍅😂

From carefully placing toppings to sneaking a few along the way (we won’t tell 🤭), everyone got involved and enjoyed the experience.

Safe to say… they tasted as good as they looked! 🍕

Today is all about keeping things simple, balanced, and nourishing.

Snacks don’t have to be complicated to be effective — it’s about choosing foods that fuel your body, support recovery, and keep your energy steady throughout the day.

Today’s healthy snack choices:

Wholegrain pitta bread with hummus 🫓
Oatcakes for slow-release energy
Dried prunes for natural sweetness and fibre
Greek yogurt for protein and gut health 🥣
Fresh fruit for vitamins and hydration 🍎🍌🍓
Hydration is key 💧
Don’t forget to drink plenty of water throughout the day — your body needs it for recovery, digestion, and overall performance.

Remember:
Good nutrition isn’t about restriction — it’s about fuelling your body with the right foods so you can feel your best.
