The Arches Physiotherapy in Lymington are pleased to announce a new concussion service providing specialist assessment and treatment for head injuries by a multidisciplinary team including a sports doctor, physiotherapists, psychologists and fast-track referral to a neurosurgical doctor if required.

The service is designed for those experiencing concussion symptoms in the sub-acute phase to promote rehabilitation, for both athletes and non-athletes, so that a safe return can be mapped out for your chosen activity using a protocol driven approach.

The service is available for children, adolescents, and adults after a suspected concussive event.

For concussion symptoms like headaches, dizziness, fatigue, or balance problems, the immediate action remains to go to A&E (Accident & Emergency) if you've been knocked out, have worsening headaches, or persistent vomiting.
