I had the pleasure of joining in with Holiday Club this week at North Baddesley Infant School! We all enjoyed a fun adventure (either a trip under the sea or on a jungle safari) plus a relaxation and yoga games too. Yoga poses and breathing techniques were weaved throughout, as well as smiling, happy faces 😁🧘‍♀️🧘 Thank you for having me!

A little announcement:

For the time being, we are taking a little break from delivering weekly kids yoga classes which are open to the public. As demand for kids yoga in schools increases, I don't have the capacity to deliver weekly classes too (for now). But this isn't goodbye, it's see you soon! 🥰

I have loved getting to know each and every family who has attended my weekly classes so far. I will miss my preschool yoga explorers very much! BUT I am still available to discuss 1-1 yoga classes and private bookings for groups and parties 🥳 🧘‍♀️💜🧡

Preschool Kids Yoga classes are back for a new term! Let's get our little ones moving and exploring what their bodies can do with engaging, entertaining yoga stories. Plus, this January, new attendees will get not one but TWO FREE taster classes before signing up 🥰🧘‍♀️

You can find me at Abbotswood Community Centre on Thursday mornings at 9.30am. Every class includes a yoga story, a game, a short relaxation PLUS colouring. It is a perfect way to bond with your preschooler, while promoting active bodies, calm minds and lots of FUN!

Get in touch with me to grab your spot, either via messenger or email (stepintothestory.yoga@gmail.com). Classes are suitable for 2 - 4 year olds. Our first class back is on Thursday 9th January.

I would love to wish you all a very Happy New Year! 🥳 2025, here we come!

I feel so privileged to know all the wonderful families that I've met through Step into the Story Kids Yoga, and proud that I turned my vision into a reality when I started this little business last year. Thanks to each and every one of you who has brought your children to go on a kids yoga adventure, or a few, or many!

I wish you all a healthy, happy and joyful year ahead. I have so many more yoga stories and adventures lined up... let's go! 👣📖🧘‍♀️💜🧡

It's that time again - another school holiday is nearly upon us! So after the brilliant success of my Summer 'Family Fun' yoga classes, I am back this half term with some more yoga stories (this time, a bit more spooky and magical!) for the whole family to get involved in! 🥳🧘‍♀️

Classes are £7 per child (£3.50 for siblings attending with one full paying child) and can be booked by simply sending me a message! Parents, grandparents and big kids of all ages are welcome to come and get involved too 🥰

I'm happy to share the news that Step into the Story Kids Yoga will be offered as an after school club at North Baddesley Infant School and Nursery - starting after half term! 🥳

The club will include a new yoga story every week, allowing us to go on adventures with our bodies and minds as the yoga poses are weaved into the story, plus a short relaxation / meditation and yoga games to finish.

Available to all children who attend the school, this hour-long after school club will be held on Mondays and will be £7 per class (block bookable per half term).

If you're a parent of a child at NBIS, check out your recent school communication to find out about how to book your little one in for this engaging class which promotes active bodies, calm minds and lots of fun!

Banish the hump day blues and join us for Kids Yoga on a Wednesday afternoon!

This bright and spacious hall is in the Sports Pavilion at North Baddesley Recreation Ground, and the venue for our Infant-school aged yoga classes. Between 4.30 - 5.15pm, we go on all sorts of adventures with our bodies and minds 🧘‍♀️💭🤩 Our yoga story is also followed by a short relaxation and yoga games!

This week has brought the theme of Autumn to our yoga classes! 🍂🍁

Our yoga story, accompanied by a picture mat to guide us, featured trees with falling leaves, squirrels collecting acorns and hedgehogs preparing for hibernation. We even foraged for some blackberries and apples to make a delicious crumble!

It's so much fun to go on an adventure with our bodies and minds! 🧘‍♀️💭 Our little yoga explorers are now experts of our pose of the week: Tree Pose 🌳 😊

Sometimes, our yoga stories are based on popular children's literature, just like this much loved children's book, 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt'!

My preschool classes loved hearing the story all over again (as so many of them already knew it!) but this time, getting involved too as our bodies became long swishy grass, a swirling whirling snowstorm and of course... the bear! 🐻
