The clinic is now CLOSED for Christmas and New Year, and will be back to normal opening hours on Monday 5th January.

Today is World Spine Day.

This year, the emphasis is for us all to 'invest' in our spines and minimise back pain with regular physical activity, good posture, and healthy ergonomic habits, lifestyles and workspaces.

Did you know, low back pain is the single biggest cause of disability worldwide, but it also the condition for which the greatest number of people may benefit from rehabilitation?

And did you know that over 600 million people were affected with low back pain in 2020, and nearly 850 million are anticipated to be affected by 2050, mainly due to an ageing, and increasing population?

So, we need to be looking after our spines!

Isaac joins the team! We're delighted to welcome chiropractor, Isaac McGowan, to the Wye Valley Chiropractic Clinic.

Isaac McGowan joined Wye Valley Chiropractic Clinic after gaining valuable clinical experience at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic. He graduated with a Distinction in MSc
Chiropractic from the University of South Wales, one of the UK’s leading chiropractic institutions.

Isaac is registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC), the UK’s statutory regulatory body for chiropractic, and is a member of the British Chiropractic Association (BCA), the
country’s largest and longest-standing professional chiropractic organisation.

Isaac is passionate about restoring patients to optimal wellbeing through a variety of patient-informed, evidence-based techniques and strategies. He is committed to tailoring care to individual needs, promoting health, and empowering patients to take an active role in their recovery and long-term wellbeing. As a primary healthcare practitioner, he is trained to identify, manage, or refer a wide range of health issues appropriately and is qualified to assess and treat muscle and joint complaints throughout the entire body.

Isaac has a particular interest in supporting healthy lifestyles and helping patients integrate movement and resilience into their everyday routines. Isaac is dedicated to helping people of all ages and backgrounds return to the activities they love and meet their goals.

Outside of clinical practice, Isaac enjoys climbing, improving his surfing skills, going to the gym, and exploring the outdoors on hikes. He also has a passion for cooking and is always experimenting with new recipes.
