Participating and presenting - developing a 10 year research strategy for Europe, and Preventing Burnout in Healthcare Professionals.

(I took my own advice, went on a bike tour, found the old city and even found a beach!)

When the Chiropractic Patients Association merged with the Royal College of Chiropractors, this resulted in the formation of a new patient representative group known as Chiropractic Patient Voice in which chiropractic patients from all over UK can get involved.

Chiropractic Patient Voice helps enable chiropractic patients to:
Meet other chiropractic patients
Share their experiences of chiropractic care
Contribute their views towards important developments in the chiropractic profession by participating in consultations and, as a result:
Improve chiropractic services for themselves and others in collaboration with chiropractors

🥳🥳🥳 999th patient today in clinic! 🥳🥳🥳

Quite an achievement - but not when you have just 'poled'!

🤩 George returned from the South Pole just last week! 🤩
She is one of the two Antarctic Fire Angels, two 'ordinary women doing extraordinary things', who has just ski'd 1230km across Antarctica to the South Pole, towing a huge 110kg* sledge behind her! Not settling for an easy option, they chose a route that had never been done before, up a couple of mountains, in temperatures sometimes as low as -50'C, and all in just 52 days! Unsupported - so pulling all that they needed behind them.

*17 stone in old money! And apparently, the snow in Antarctica isn't really slippery - so imagine dragging it across wet, heavy sticky sand, for 70,000 steps a day, with it squeaking like nails on a blackboard. 🫣
