How would you feel then?

What would/could life look like?

You're not broken.

You're not lazy. You're not weak. You're not failing.

You're exhausted. And there's a massive difference.

Burnout isn't a character flaw – it's a signal. Your nervous system's been running on fumes, and it's finally saying "enough". Your body's been trying to get your attention for months, maybe longer. I get it. I've been there!

The guilt you feel about resting? That's not truth. That's conditioning. That's the voice of a culture that measures your worth by your productivity, and honestly, that voice is lying to you.

Here's what I know: the most powerful thing you can do right now isn't to push harder. It's to stop. To rest without apology. To let yourself be human.

Because rest isn't laziness. Rest is resistance. Rest is reclamation. Rest is how you remember who you are beyond the hustle.

So if you're reading this and thinking, "I can't rest, there's too much to do" – I hear you. And I'm gently asking: what if the most productive thing you could do is rest?

What if by stopping, you're actually creating space for real, sustainable change?

You deserve to feel calm. You deserve energy that doesn't come from desperation. You deserve a life that doesn't feel like survival.

And that starts with permission. Permission to rest. Permission to be enough, exactly as you are.

Today, just try giving yourself permission to rest, to take care of yourself (whatever that means to you) - to do a small yoga session, to curl up with a book and cuppa, to hide under a blanket, to go for that walk in nature - whatever will bring you back to yourself - even for a few minutes.

If you are a woman in business and this is hitting home, I made a free guide for you: Slow Down Without Falling Behind, 5 simple ways to calm the mind, reduce overwhelm & restore your energy (even when you're busy!)

To get it, DM me “GUIDE” or see my comment below 😇.

Hi, I’m Jess — a Health Coach & Mindset Mentor, a big believer in calm success
and an unapologetic lover of donkeys! đŸ«¶

I support busy women entrepreneurs who look like they’re coping on the outside, but inside feel overwhelmed, exhausted, and constantly “on”.

If your brain won’t switch off — you’re not broken.
You’re just carrying too much.

I help you reduce the overwhelm, rebuild your energy,
and feel present again
without adding more pressure or perfectionism.

Before I did this work professionally, I lived it.

I know what it’s like to push through, ignore your own needs,
and tell yourself you’ll rest “once things calm down”

only for life to stay loud.

Stress took a real toll on my body and confidence.
And that’s a big part of why I do what I do now —
because I know it’s possible to build something meaningful without burning yourself out.

I trained with the Health Creation Coaching & Mentorship Academy
(the UK’s only medically led health coaching association),
and gained my diploma in 2020.

I’m also a registered coach on the UKIHCA, and a qualified RAISE Life Coach (trained by Paul Stalker — Channel 4’s “Happiness Engineer”).

These days, I offer:
✹ Private coaching
✹ Group programmes
✹ My membership, The Freedom Hub

All online via Zoom or phone.

If you’re feeling stretched too thin, constantly “on”,
and like you’ve lost a bit of yourself along the way

you’re exactly who I help đŸ€

And if you’d like a gentle place to start,
I’ve created a brand new free guide for women entrepreneurs:

Slow Down Without Falling Behind
5 simple ways to calm your mind, reduce overwhelm, and restore your energy

There’s a voice in your head that panics when you slow down.

It tells you:

“You’re falling behind.”

“You should be doing more.”

“Other people can cope
 why can’t I?”

And if you’re a woman running a business, that voice can get loud — because your work is never really “done”, is it?

But here’s the thing most of us don’t realise:

Sometimes it doesn’t feel safe to rest
not because you’re bad at self-care or undisciplined

but because your nervous system learned early on that pushing = "safety" and pausing = "risk."

So when you try to slow down, your body kicks up guilt, restlessness, and that edgy “I should be doing something” feeling.

You’re not broken.

You’re protecting yourself.

If you want a gentle way to calm the mental noise without falling behind, I made you something:

👉 Slow Down Without Falling Behind — a free guidebook with 5 simple resets you can actually do on a tired Tuesday.

Is it just me, or does this season feel absolutely packed? Like, there's a million things pulling on your energy and you're just constantly switched on?

I've been hearing this from loads of my clients lately – and then last week I realised I was doing the exact same thing. Classic!😅

So I tried something ridiculously simple to reset my energy that actually works!

Here are 3 micro habits that shifted my days from all over the place to actually a lot calmer!:

đŸŒŸ Start your day in stillness:
Before you reach for your phone (I know, I know), take just 60 seconds to breathe and notice how your body feels. That one quiet minute sets the tone for your whole day.

đŸŒŸ Use your senses to come back to the present:
When things feel overwhelming, pause and name one thing you can see, hear, feel, taste, and smell. Sounds too simple to work, but it genuinely stops those mental spirals dead.

đŸŒŸ Celebrate one small win tonight:
Before bed, write down one thing that went well today. Even if it's just "I remembered to drink water." Training your mind to notice the good stuff builds confidence over time.

Look, you don't need to overhaul your entire life to feel better.

Just try these three small shifts and see what happens.

They might seem almost too simple, but with a bit of repetition? Honestly powerful.

So tell me, what helps you reset when life feels too full? Really curious to know 💭

Love Jess (and Willow!) x đŸŒŸ

P.S. If you’d like more tips like this (the realistic kind that actually fit into real life), pop me a message with your email and I’ll get you added — you’ll start receiving useful tips, freebies and offers to help you build calmer habits, reset your energy, and feel more like you again (without turning your life upside down!).

You know that feeling when everything's going wrong and your brain's screaming "I can't do this anymore"?

In those moments, it all feels massive. Like the worst thing ever. Like maybe you should just give up.

But here's what I've learned (the hard way, more times than I'd like to admit😅)

Give it a bit of time and space, and that "disaster" usually turns out to be just a really rubbish day. A tough patch. A lesson you didn't ask for but needed anyway.

The thing that makes the real difference? Not going through it alone.

When life gets heavy, having people who get it – who'll listen without fixing, who'll sit with you in the mess – that's what turns surviving into actually growing.

So
can you relate? What's helped you get through the tough moments lately? 💭

Feeling guilty for needing a break?

You’re not lazy. You’re human.

If your mind is shouting 'keep going' but your body’s quietly begging for rest, you’re not alone.

Real strength often means slowing down, not pushing through.

If you need permission to pause, take this as your sign.

Curious what gentle support could look like for you? Pop me a message for a free Discovery Call. đŸŒŸ I would love to support you.

26/03/2026

You’re not unmotivated.
You’re not “bad at discipline.”
You’re not the problem.

You’re drained
in a way that rest alone doesn’t seem to fix.

When life has been full-on for a long time — mentally, emotionally, even quietly in the background — your system doesn’t just bounce back because you had an early night, a slow Sunday or a 10 day get-away.

It lingers.

It shows up as that heavy, foggy feeling where everything takes more effort than it should.
Where simple tasks feel weirdly overwhelming.
Where your spark feels
dimmed, and you can’t quite explain why.

And then comes the frustration.
“Why can’t I just get on with things?”
“Why do I feel like this when nothing’s *that* wrong?”

But this isn’t about laziness or lack of drive.
It’s about capacity.

You’ve been holding a lot. Thinking a lot. Managing a lot.

Even the things you don’t consciously notice — the constant low-level stress, the pressure, the overthinking, the always being “on” — they all add up.

So of course you feel like this.

And pushing yourself harder from this place?
That’s like trying to sprint on an empty tank
it only takes you further away from feeling like yourself again.

What actually helps is softer than that.

It’s creating small pockets where your system can exhale.
Moments where you’re not performing, fixing, or figuring anything out.
Spaces where you don’t have to be “on it.”

Not because you’ve earned it.
Not because everything else is done.

But because you’re human
 and your energy isn’t unlimited.

So if today feels slower than you’d like, or heavier than it “should”

try meeting yourself there instead of fighting it.

Lower the bar a little.
Take the pressure off, even briefly.
Let something be simple.

Sometimes the way back to yourself isn’t through force

it’s through gentleness, bit by bit, breath by breath đŸ€

You’re not lazy.You’re not “doing life wrong.”You’re not broken.You’re carrying a lot

24/03/2026

You’re not lazy.
You’re not “doing life wrong.”
You’re not broken.

You’re carrying a lot
quietly. And your system is tired.

When you’ve spent so long being the reliable one — the one who shows up, holds space, keeps going, figures it out — you get really good at pushing your own needs to the side.

Until your body gently
 then not so gently
says, “hey, I need you now.”

And suddenly it looks like overthinking everything.
Snapping at people you love.
Feeling wired but exhausted.
Struggling to switch off.
Crying over things that don’t even make sense.

It’s not random. It’s not weakness. It’s your nervous system asking for support.

I know that place. The one where you feel like you *should* be able to handle it
so you keep trying to push through.

And that voice that whispers,
“just get on with it”
“other people have it worse”
“you don’t have time to slow down”

That’s not truth. That’s conditioning wrapped in pressure.

Because here’s the thing most people don’t realise:

You don’t get out of overwhelm by doing more.
You get out by creating space to actually process what’s going on.

By being heard.
By feeling supported.
By not having to carry it all on your own for five minutes.

So if you’re reading this thinking,
“I don’t even know where to start”
or
“I just feel a bit
 stuck”

You don’t need a full life overhaul right now.

You just need a moment. A pause. A conversation.

That’s exactly why I’m offering a number of free 30-minute discovery calls.

A space where you can talk about what’s really going on for you, without judgement.
Get some immediate support and clarity.
And gently explore what might help you feel more like yourself again
 at your own pace.

And if it feels helpful to you, I can let you know how I can further support you moving forward.

No pressure. No expectations. Just real support.

If it feels right, you can message me and I’ll send you the link to book in đŸ€

22/03/2026

You’re not behind in life.
You’re not “running out of time.”
You haven’t missed your chance.

You’re just in a season that doesn’t look like the one you thought you’d be in.

And that can feel
 quietly heavy.

When you look around and it seems like everyone else is moving faster, doing more, figuring things out — it’s so easy to turn that inward.

To question yourself.
To wonder if you’ve taken a wrong turn somewhere.
To feel that subtle, nagging pressure to hurry up and "get it together."

But life isn’t a race with a neat little timeline. It’s much more like a winding path through the woods 🌿

Some parts are clear and flowing.
Some parts are slow and uncertain.
Some parts ask you to stop completely
even when you don’t want to.

And just because you’re in a slower, foggier stretch right now doesn’t mean you’re lost.

It might mean you’re recalibrating.
Outgrowing something.
Letting go of a version of life that no longer fits.

That in-between space? It’s uncomfortable
but it’s also where so much quiet change happens.

The kind you don’t always see straight away.
The kind that sets you up for something more aligned, more you.

So if you’ve been feeling like you should be further ahead by now

like you need to rush or catch up

Just pause for a second.

What if you’re not behind?
What if you’re exactly where you need to be to create what’s next?

Not from pressure.
But from clarity. From truth. From a place that actually feels right for you.

And you don’t have to figure all of that out on your own.

🌟 If it would feel supportive to talk things through, to have a space where you can share what’s been going on, get a bit of clarity, and feel a little more grounded in it all — I’ve got a few free 30-minute discovery calls open at the moment.

🌟 A gentle space for you to be heard, get some immediate support, and if it feels helpful, we can explore what ongoing support could look like for you too.

🌟 If you feel that would be helpful to you, you’re very welcome to reach out and message me đŸ€

Out for a walk with my mates 😂

There's something about being out in nature with these two that just sorts my head out. No agenda, no pressure, just moving bodies and fresh air. And honestly, some of my best coaching insights come from these walks. 😂

So here's what I've noticed - when my clients start prioritising time outside, with people, (or with animals!) they care about, everything shifts. Not because it's some magic cure, but because of two things:

1. Movement + good company = nervous system reset

When you're walking alongside someone (or something!), your body naturally syncs with theirs. Your breathing steadies, your pace finds a rhythm, and your nervous system goes "oh, we're safe here." It's not woo - it's actual biology. Your body remembers how to relax.

2. Minimal eye contact = easier conversation (especially for neurodivergent folks

Walking side-by-side means you're not staring at each other, which somehow makes it easier to say the real stuff. You can chat about the hard things without feeling like you're under a microscope. Whether it's your mate, your partner, or honestly, just your horse or dog - sometimes the best conversations happen when you're looking at the same direction.

So if you've been feeling a bit stuck or overwhelmed lately, maybe it's time to grab someone (or your best bud animal) and just... walk. No phone, no destination. Just you and the outside.

Your nervous system will thank you.

With love, Jess x đŸŒŸ
