Happy first day of the Fire Horse 🐎🔥

This energy comes around every 60 years, it is rare, powerful energy that ignites our forward momentum, passion, and independence in a fiery blaze of rapid movement and momentum. It is the time for courage, and acting without fear knowing the universe is behind us, and it favours risk and boldness in this coming year. It is the time to say yes to what we've always wanted to do but never felt the time was right or that we were good enough or ready.

This fire and momentum also needs to be grounded and aligned with our heart energy: fire energy is heart energy, and to move forward without burnout or recklessness, it is important to be clear about our direction, remember to ground and recentre, and above all, to act from balanced heart energy with clarity, warmth, joy, connection, care, conscience, and forgiveness.

As we enter a time of rapid and great transformation and change, I invite you to join me for my next Yin Yoga and Crystal Singing Bowl Sound Bath on Saturday 28th February, where we step into this new zodiac year with purpose, grounding, and direction. .

Nope, new year, same you, but we ALWAYS have a choice, every day is a new day and a new start, and this is the Chinese year of the horse, and therefore, momentum 💪☮️✌️

So, take take control of your own happiness, health, and balance with the momentum initiated by the new year mindset. Move with confidence in the direction that feels right.

It's my last full week of classes before Christmas! Come along this week and next Monday and Tuesday for the final classes of 2025 to balance your nervous system and brain, tune your DNA and chakras, and release and strengthen your whole being to find harmony, coherence, and wholeness..... and FEEL GOOD!

This is an exciting time for many. And equally, a challenging time for many. And a stressful time for most, remember stress is a response to both good and bad things psychologically speaking, and what happens psychologically is mirrored physically.

Find your centre, breathe, take time to JUST be, being kind, loving and patient to yourself. Doing Yoga doesn't mean doing compass pose or chanting Om, it means loving and accepting yourself and from that place, walking a path in this world that leaves no harm, because we are all one.

So, this is my Christmas message and reminder to everyone... create time to just be, be compassionate and kind, and let joy be a natural state of being independent of any of the noise on the surface. Underneath it all, we just are. Peace. Bliss. Awe. Serenity. Love.

CONFESSION: I don’t always feel like doing yoga.

But I know that I will feel better after yoga.

Motivation comes from action.

If we wait until we feel motivated, we will never start.

My body loves yoga,

My nervous system craves yoga,

My mind needs yoga.

I don’t have much free time so when I choose to prioritise yoga over everything else on my to-do list, I know from experience that I’m investing in my future self.

For me, life is easier, smoother and I’m more effective when I make time for yoga.

Without yoga I’m

😫always tired

😡moody and cranky

😤irritable

🤯have a cluttered mind

😖stiff and sore

😵lack creativity

🤔make poor decisions

So I know that making time for yoga will make everything else I do easier.

I don’t always feel like it but I never regret doing it.

and through identification with the personal self.
We can be happy every moment
but mostly, due to habit, we choose to focus
on what makes us unhappy
and so lose or hide our natural joy.
Develop the excellent attitude of gratitude
to all of existence.
Overlook petty thoughts, worries and troubles
—the bitter and the sweet.
Instantly, you will begin feeling uplifted in your spirit
and in a short time you will begin seeing life
through brighter, wiser and more loving eyes.
