Today we celebrate another special milestone for a member of our North region! Steven Andrews has now achieved 15 years of loyal service! We approached Steve's managers for their comments on his career with HSL to date:

Lee Samuel - "Another month, another milestone for dedicated service within our region - it’s starting to become a part-time job for me writing these well-deserved thank you messages! I know Steve personally, but also know that he is a well-respected and liked member of our Northern team by his colleagues, and someone you can always depend on for completing his work to the highest standards, in a timely manner. Nothing is ever too much trouble for Steve, and his pleasant and friendly nature always lends itself for others to approach him, should they require any support and assistance. Congratulations, Steve on your impressive 15 year milestone, and I look forward to working with you for years to come!"

Tony McEvoy - "Steve is well established and respected both by work colleagues and clients in his role as a Monitoring Technician. He also goes about his work duties in a professional manner and will go that bit extra, when required! He has worked significantly on one of our longest standing contracts in North Wales for the best part of those 15 years (although he still can't speak Welsh though!😊). Congratulations, Steve!"

We are delighted to be celebrating a very special milestone with our wonderful Lee Samuel, who has achieved 20 years of dedicated service today!

Lee is a much-loved member of the team - his positivity, friendliness, and great sense of humour make every day brighter. He’s also exceptionally talented and dependable, always going above and beyond to support his colleagues and our customers alike.

We kick off the week on a high - celebrating another incredible milestone for one of our team! Today marks 15 years since Dave Molyneux joined the HSL team!

Lee Samuel - "Another long service award in our region, congratulations Dave! I remember Dave starting 15 years ago, working one of our longest standing contracts, carrying out PPM works to very a high standard. Since then Dave has gone from strength to strength, and is now a competent Legionella Risk Assessor carrying out technical assessments for our customers. Dave is very polite, approachable, and always willing to go that extra mile if needed. Congratulations on your 15 year anniversary Dave, and I look forward to seeing you progress in the coming years!"

Tom Howden - "Congratulations Dave on 15 years’ service!! I have worked closely with Dave over the 15 years and watched him grow from a great Monitoring Technician to a highly competent Level 3 Risk Assessor working across various contracts. I can trust Dave to liaise with clients and customers to solve complex site issues and his work is always completed to the highest standard. Today we celebrate 10 years with the wonderful Dave Cooke!

Since joining the Reports department in 2015, Dave has been an invaluable part of the team. Over the past decade, his expertise with reports has been second to none, and his popularity among colleagues has made him a much-loved member of the workplace.

Ash Hilton - "Dave is an invaluable and extremely popular member of the Reports team. His constant high standard of work and fantastic personality make him a pleasure to work with. Congrats, Dave!"

Kirstyn Richardson - "Dave has been an integral part of the Asbestos team from the very beginning. He continuously demonstrates his ability to produce high quality CAD plans which has certainly helped build the reputation of the business. Dave will often produce the more complex plans for our clients, taking a lot of pride in his work. Dave has always shown reliability and is always on hand to assist often at short notice to ensure we hit a deadline. Dave is well respected by his colleagues and is always happy to share his knowledge with others. I would personally like to thank Dave for his hard work and dedication and congratulate him on the amazing achievement of 10 years of service!"

This week our team have been recovering from and reflecting on a hugely successful trek up the magnificent Ben Nevis to raise money for Make-A-Wish® UK! 💫

Despite some sore knees and blistered feet, the team were absolutely incredible throughout the weekend. In very demanding and challenging conditions, the team spirits was kept high and everyone supported each other to get up to the summit and back down again. 🎉

Thank you to Ali Comline at On The Mountain, who led the team and made sure everyone was safe and well looked after throughout the trek. 🙏

On behalf of all the team we would like to thank everybody who donated towards the fundraiser. The page is still open for anyone who would like to congratulate the outstanding efforts made by our colleagues, some of whom had over 12 hours travel just to get to the base at Fort William! 😲

We are looking forward to announcing our final total raised very soon! 📢

Today we celebrate 10 years with Jonathan Kelly! 🎉 Jonathan has been a valued member of our Northern team for a decade and has proven himself to be a reliable, professional and dedicated colleague!

Lee Samuel "Jonathan works in our Scotland region as a Monitoring Technician, carrying out various PPM works to a very high standard. When called upon, Jonathan also assists our remedial team, carrying out with clean and disinfection works for numerous clients in Scotland. Jonathan’s knowledge of our long standing accounts is second to none, and his helpful and friendly nature makes him a well-liked member of the team.
