I would love to welcome my existing and new students 🥰

🌳 We're thrilled to welcome Park Yoga Ross-on-Wye this season.

📅 Sessions are an hour and start at 9.30am on 3rd May and run every Sunday morning for 20 weeks.

💚 If you have not experienced Park Yoga, it is a great way to try yoga for the first time. You don’t have to take part in the whole session, many people take moments of rest and enjoy the fresh air while watching the clouds go by.

💚 There's no need to book.

💚 Bring a yoga mat if you have one, but if you don’t, a towel or blanket is perfect.

Who is this retreat for?

- Men and women who feel that they are on the cross roads in their lives and not sure what do to next.
- Who needs to make an important decision and don’t have clarity at the moment.
- Who feels like every day is the same and needs to find time to get back to her/himself to feel who you are and what you want.
- Someone who just wants to relax and spend time enjoying yoga, meditation and reiki

You are NOT expected to talk to people, hug, share your feelings if you don’t want to, wear special clothes and jewellery, fit in.

Our mini retreat includes:
Yoga practice: A heart-opening flow to release tension and welcome new growth with Yin yoga elements, breathing practice (1.5 hours).

Guided Meditation: A soulful journey to grow the 'planted seeds' to their full potential. We will dive deep to remember what seed you were born with.

Group Reiki Session: Experience the restorative power of collective healing energy to balance your chakras.
Reiki - Japanese, non-invasive healing technique aimed at reducing stress and promoting relaxation.

What is your favourite yoga pose?
If you don’t do yoga, what’s your favourite exercise?

Mine is downward facing dog ( besides shavasana of course 😂)
If I don’t have time at all, I like to do this pose. It stretches the whole body and I feel more open, body more alive, especially in the morning.

Downward-Facing Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana) is a foundational yoga pose forming an inverted "V" shape, designed to strengthen the shoulders, stretch the backline (hamstrings/spine), and calm the mind. Begin on hands and knees, lifting hips up and back while pressing through hands. Key tips include bending knees to prioritize a long spine over straight legs

Core exercise number 2:
- Start in the table top position, hands under the shoulders, knees under your hips.
- lift you knees up, engaging your core, keeping your back neutral (option 1)
- moving knees side to side, inhale in the centre, exhaling while moving knees. You can also drop the hip to the floor (option 2)
- option 3, moving knees to the left, lifting left arm and extending right leg, then to the other side, lifting right arm and extending left leg.

You can start from option 1 and progress gradually.
Don’t forget to keep your bag neutral without rounding or arching your back and dropping your belly down.

I decided to gather exercises for you to strengthen the deep core muscles that are safe for someone who has abdominal separation (diastasis recti).

Here is number 1:
1. Start in sphinx pose. On your belly, elbows under the shoulders, forearms on the floor.
2. On exhale lift the belly up, head inline with the spine. On inhale bring belly back to the floor.
3. Motion comes from the core, not hips.
4. Do 3 sets by 10 (you can do more or less) see how you feel.

Why I chose to practise yoga….

I was always fixated on loosing and maintaining my weight. I love eating!!!
In my school years I was dancing ballet. In my 20th I started going to the gym and did ballroom dancing also.
If I didn’t sweat in the gym to me it meant there was no point. I had to sweat and be sore the next day. That how I felt then.
My knees started hurting while I was in University already. Doctors never found a problem.
Gym didn’t help, I had personal trainers.
I was feeling that lifting weights, running were not doing my knees any favours.

Since I was 14 my mum brought me into world of self development and spirituality.
I received my psychology, life coaching degree in 2016. While being out on gatherings and trainings, I was introduced to kundalini yoga, breathing practises, mantras etc.
I joined yoga classes in UK in 2016. Although I was gifted with a flexible body, I couldn’t do many asanas properly due to the pain in my knees.

2 worlds married for me in yoga: physical and spiritual.
Yoga is not about just exercising, it is so much more. The philosophy behind it, ancient wisdom just feels close to me and makes sense.

I am not against other physical activities, if you do yoga also 😂
Meditation, breathing practises etc. are just missing from Pilates and gym.

Working with the mind, improving yourself was always interesting to me.
I learned different healing techniques along the way, working with Metaphorical Associative Cards (pschycological technique) and Reiki recently, which naturally blended in with the rest of my knowledge.

Now I want to share all the knowledge I have and help others in my classes and retreats.

The next mini retreat is on 31st of May in Ross on why, Herefordshire.
We will have physical, breathing practise, followed by guided meditation, where will dive deep to remember/find the ‘seed’ (talent/desire/purpose) you were born with. Then we will have group Reiki session, to heal if anything needs healing brought up by meditation or just relax.

I actually went out last Friday night 🤯🤣
to make Christmas flower arrangement with a lovely group of ladies at Pelham Hall, Penallt.
I love some creativity especially with flowers 🌺♥️
Thank you ladies for organising such a lovely workshop.
Creativity in any shape is so important in our lives. The trick is to enjoy the process rather than the end result only.
If you are still looking for Christmas presents I still have some beautiful earrings, coasters, pendants etc. made by me from real preserved flowers and resin, can be custom made (there is still time).
