Some highlights from last week…

1) A fresh ankle sprain from our first rugby pre season game. Was very swollen and bruising came out quickly but I haven’t ruled out a fracture yet.
📍Hereford

2) Some hamstring rehab with a runner client i’ve been seeing for quite a while but has finally moved on to end stage/power movements.
📍Hereford

3) A simple toe touch movement used in lower back pain assessment with a new client, looking for pain and good ROM.
📍Coleford

4) An outside session for a footballer with a quad injury - not quite ready to kick a ball yet.
📍Coleford

5) Another hamstring assessment - a position I use to measure active extension for hamstring ROM and also willingness to move through the range at speed for readiness to go back running.

6) Started the season with a win at Wyeside on Saturday 🏉

Basic First Aid Qualified for another 3 years ✅

Thanks to for a great 1 day course.

This is a requirement for me in my job as a Sports Therapist as well as working within rugby but I would encourage everyone to have some form of basic first aid training as you never know where and when someone might need help.

CLIENT ON THE PODIUM 🙌

A huge congratulations to my client Nigel (left) who finished second in the recent Hereford 10km 🥈

I’ve been working with him for a while now with his most recent ni**le being the runners dreaded shin splints!

He is religious with any rehab and strengthening I give him so fully deserves the achievement 👏

He only runs once or twice a week so to put up this time without a real running plan is very impressive.

Onto the next race 👀
