🌟 Great start to the year for Will 🌟

Had the pleasure of rehabbing Will who dislocated his knee playing rugby.

Rehab went really well, Will worked hard and did all the exercises I gave him. He loved the challenge of strength and stability and progressed really well.

He’s now back playing for and I know he really missed it.

Good to see you back on the pitch 🫡

Congratulations my client Nigel Skyrme who recently completed the local 15mile time trial.

Nigel represented Ross Cycling Club and completed the event in 44 minutes.

I’ve been treating him recently for a hamstring issue so really glad it didn’t seem to effect this performance.

He is also an avid runner, starting properly only last year and has already completed 10km and half marathon races, normally finishing easily in the top 10.

The times he puts up are incredible and he is easily one of the most naturally fit people I know.

Some highlights from last week…

1) A fresh ankle sprain from our first rugby pre season game. Was very swollen and bruising came out quickly but I haven’t ruled out a fracture yet.
📍Hereford

2) Some hamstring rehab with a runner client i’ve been seeing for quite a while but has finally moved on to end stage/power movements.
📍Hereford

3) A simple toe touch movement used in lower back pain assessment with a new client, looking for pain and good ROM.
📍Coleford

4) An outside session for a footballer with a quad injury - not quite ready to kick a ball yet.
📍Coleford

5) Another hamstring assessment - a position I use to measure active extension for hamstring ROM and also willingness to move through the range at speed for readiness to go back running.

6) Started the season with a win at Wyeside on Saturday 🏉

Basic First Aid Qualified for another 3 years ✅

Thanks to for a great 1 day course.

This is a requirement for me in my job as a Sports Therapist as well as working within rugby but I would encourage everyone to have some form of basic first aid training as you never know where and when someone might need help.
