A huge congratulations to my client Nigel (left) who finished second in the recent Hereford 10km 🥈

I’ve been working with him for a while now with his most recent ni**le being the runners dreaded shin splints!

He is religious with any rehab and strengthening I give him so fully deserves the achievement 👏

He only runs once or twice a week so to put up this time without a real running plan is very impressive.

Onto the next race 👀

Is pain ok during rehab ❓

The traffic light system is often used to explain how much pain is acceptable, and how much pain is probably doing more damage.

These are the parameters I use with my clients, which illiminates the difficulty that everyones pain thresholds are different.

Having a scoring system like this allows clients to work within their own pain capacity and still progress 🙌
