We’d love to introduce you to Jen, one of our wonderful Care Assistants here at Wye Care 💙

Jen joined us a little while ago, and we have been incredibly impressed with her caring abilities, compassion, and the way she supports those she looks after. She delivers care with kindness, respect, and a truly personal touch.

Outside of work, Jen is a proud mum to three daughters and has a lovely family dog! She also enjoys travelling and making special memories with her partner 💙

Good nutrition and staying hydrated are so important at every stage of life – but especially for those we support in care.

At Wye Care, we know that something as simple as a well-balanced meal or a regular drink can make a huge difference to energy levels, mood, and overall wellbeing.

From encouraging favourite meals to ensuring plenty of fluids throughout the day, we always take a person-centred approach – because everyone deserves to feel their best.

More than 10,000 calls have been made to Martha’s Rule helplines in the first 16 months of the NHS scheme, helping thousands of patients benefit from changes to their care and potentially saving lives.

Martha's Rule helps detect deterioration in hospital patients early. It gives patients and families the right to call for a rapid review if they are worried a loved one’s condition – or their own – is getting worse.

Staff can also ask for a review from a different team if they are concerned any appropriate action is not being taken.

At Wye Care, we are proud to celebrate not only the incredible women who work within our team, but also the wonderful women we have the privilege of supporting every day. Many of them have spent their lives caring for others, building families, communities and stories that deserve to be honoured and respected.
