☀️ Lovely Sunshine in Rossendale – Let’s Stay Hydrated ☀️

The next few days are looking beautifully warm here in Rossendale 🌼. While it’s great to enjoy the sunshine, it’s also a good time to make sure we’re all drinking enough to stay well.

For anyone spending time with an older relative or friend, here are our top tips and a few gentle ways to help keep fluids topped up:

💧 Offer regular drinks – water, squash, or a favourite brew.
🍓 Keep hydrating snacks handy – fruit, cucumber, jelly, or yoghurt.
🕰️ Small and often – little sips throughout the day add up.
🧊 Add a twist – ice cubes, lemon slices, or their favourite mug can make drinks more inviting.
🏡 Keep rooms cool – close curtains in sunny spots and use a fan if it’s warm inside.
🕶️ Save outdoor activities for early mornings or later in the day.
