We the family of the late Mary Mackin (RIP) would like to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to all those who sympathised with us on the loss of our beloved mother. We deeply appreciate those who attended Mary’s wake and funeral. To those who sent mass cards letters and messages these have been a great support during such a difficult time. To those who brought food and refreshments to the house we are truly so thankful for your kindness.
Special thanks to FR Des Mooney for celebrating the funeral mass and all those who participated in the funeral service. A special word of thanks to Rebecca Mackin for the beautiful singing and music that made the ceremony so special.
Our appreciation goes to the medical staff at Daisy Hill Hospital Renal unit along with Dr Gallan and the Doctors and staff at Summer Hill Surgery Warrenpoint District nurses carers life and times for their dedicated care during Mary’s illness. A special thanks to Mary’s neighbour Dr Bonner..
Thank you Patsy Curran Funeral Directors for their guidance, empathy and dignity in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
A warm thank you to Lily and the St Bronagh's GAA for providing the refreshments after the funeral. A special thanks to Mary’s neighbours Miriam and Paul for all their kindness and support.
Mary’s month's mind will be celebrated on Sunday 27th April 11.30 in St Mary's Star of the sea Rostrevor.

MACKIN ( Rostrevor ) ( nee ) Russell MARY 28th March 2025 Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her home, 1, St Brigids Cottages Drumsesk road, Rostrevor.
Dearly loved wife of the late David RIP. and daughter of the late Bridget Russell Kilbroney.
Devoted mother of Deirdre, Caroline, David, Paul, Linda and the late Stephen RIP.
Sister of the late Margaret and John RIP.
Mary’s remains will be reposing at her home today Saturday and tomorrow Sunday and Monday from 2.00pm until 9.00pm each day.
Removal on Tuesday 1st April for 11.30am Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Star of the Sea Church Rostrevor.
Interment afterwards in Kilbroney Cemetery, Rostrevor. Our Lady of Lourdes pray for her soul.
House Private on the morning of the funeral.

Deeply regretted by her sons, daughters, sons in law Charles, Christopher and Seamy.
Daughter in law Joleen.
Loving nanny to her grandchildren and great grandchildren and will be missed by all her nephews, nieces, sisters in laws, brothers in law and the entire family circle.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT NOTICE FOR KATHLEEN CLARKE

We the family of the late Kathleen Clarke (RIP) would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all those who kindly expressed their sympathies to us during our sad time of loss. To those who brought food and refreshments to the house we are truly so thankful for your kindness.
Special thanks to Canon Frank Kearney for celebrating the funeral mass and to Monsignor John Clarke, Canon John Kearney and Canon Hackett for concelebrating and all those who participated in the funeral service. A special word of thanks to Rós, Siubhán, Eibhlis and the senior choir for the beautiful singing and music which Kathleen herself was a member and loved so much and would have been so proud.
We would like to acknowledge and thank Kathleen’s carers who treated her with such kindness and dignity which then enabled her to remain in the comfort of her own home. Also a word of thanks to the staff of the Medical Dept in Daisy Hill Hospital and to those in St Joseph’s Nursing Home who cared for Kathleen with compassion and professionalism in the last couple of weeks of her life.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT NOTICE FOR MARTIN GOODMAN

The family of the late Martin Goodman would like to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude to all those who sympathised with us on the loss of our beloved Martin. We deeply appreciate those who attended Martin’s wake and funeral. To those who sent Mass cards, letters, and messages, these have been a great support during such a difficult time.

A special thank you to Canon Frank Kearney for celebrating the funeral Mass and to Canon John Kearney for concelebrating and to all who participated in the service.

We are especially grateful to Ben, Rós and Siubhán for the beautiful music that made the ceremony so special.

We sincerely thank our family and friends who brought food, assisted during Martin’s wake, and provided comfort in so many ways.

Our appreciation goes to the medical staff of Daisy Hill Hospital, Newry, along with the local district nurses and palliative care nurse, for their dedicated care during Martin’s last months. We are also grateful to the staff at McKeevers Chemist, Rostrevor, for their support.

A warm thank you to The Kilbroney for providing refreshments after the funeral.

Martin’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 29th March 2025, at 6pm in St. Mary’s Star of the Sea, Rostrevor.

Acknowledgement Notice for the late Nora Leneghan:

We, the family of the late Nora Leneghan, would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with us after Nora's recent passing. Our heartfelt thanks go to those who called to pay their respects, gave Mass Cards, Sympathy Cards, messages of support and helped in any way during the wake. Our thanks also to all those who donated in excess of £2,500 in Nora's memory to Life & Time.
We would like to express our thanks to all the staff at Daisy Hill and Craigavon Area Hospitals for their care of Nora.
Our special thanks to Fr Bernard Bickers for his blessing, Dermot McQuaid for the beautiful music and Louise Kelly - interpreter, for signing the service - you made Nora's send-off fitting and special.
We cannot thank John Tinnelly and the Hughes family in Camlough enough for their generosity.
Our thanks also to the staff of Diamond's Restaurant and Rostrevor INF for the refreshments after the burial.
Our heartfelt thanks to Patsy Curran and his team for the support and professional way in which they carried out the wake and funeral arrangements.

Leneghan, Nora (31 Summerhill, Warrenpoint - formerly Rostrevor) passed away peacefully, 1st March 2025, in Craigavon Area Hospital.

Dearly beloved daughter of Claire and the late Paddy RIP.
Dearly loved sister of Mary (Martin), John, Damian (Karen), Kate, Pat (Maura), Claire (Brendan), Phelim (Helen) and Clement (Hester).
Nora's remains will repose at her mothers house at 22 Greendale Crescent, Greenpark Rd, Rostrevor BT34 3HF on Sunday 2nd March from 2pm to 9pm and Monday 3rd from 2pm to 9pm.
Nora's remains will be removed on Tuesday 4th March from Greendale Crescent at 11.30am, after a blessing in the home to Rostrevor Square.
The funeral cortege will then be driving DIRECT from The Square to Kilbroney Municipal Cemetery for interment at 12 noon.
Deeply regretted by her sorrowing mother, brothers, sisters, brothers -in-law, sisters-in law, nephews, nieces and the entire family circle.
Family flowers only.
Donations to Life & Time in lieu of mass cards please ℅ Donation Box in the wake house.

Dearly loved husband to Maura. Father to Patrick, Paul & Damian. Brother of Thomas, Molly R.I.P & Bridie. Father-in-law to Eilish & Ashleen.
Grandfather to Matthew & Lorcan, Sophie & James.
Martin’s remains will be reposing at his late home tomorrow Thursday 27th February at 4.00pm until 9.00pm and Friday 28th February from 2.00pm until 9.00pm.
Martin’s remains will leave his late home on Saturday 1st March at 11.45am for 12 noon Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Rostrevor.
Interment afterwards in Kilbroney Municipal Cemetery Rostrevor. St Bronagh pray for him.
