Anyone can catch scabies.

Caused by a small mite burrowing under the skin to lay eggs, scabies is transmitted by skin-to-skin contact and produces an itchy rash which can spread across the body.

It’s usually not serious but the symptoms of scabies can be very irritating.

Please share for a distraught family.

My father in law Andrew (Andy) McGibbon is missing please be on the look out for him. He is a local Airdrie man but was last seen on CCTV walking in West George St in Glasgow just after 7am on the 3rd January 2024.

Our family is so distressed and heartbroken as this is so out of character for Andy. He is a dedicated social care worker and his clients also need him back. They depend upon him for the excellent care he gives them throughout his working week.

Andy please come home everything is fixable whatever has happened to make you leave us.
