🎶 Music for Dementia Day at Park Lane Healthcare 🎶
Today, our amazing Wellbeing Coordinators from across all Park Lane Healthcare homes came together for a special Music for Dementia Day!
It was a fun, interactive, and educational event where we explored the incredible impact music can have on those living with dementia. We learned how music can access parts of the brain that are often untouched by the condition—unlocking memories, boosting mood, and enhancing wellbeing.
The day included a hands-on session with exciting new musical equipment and techniques, which our coordinators are now excited to bring back and use in their own homes with residents.
Music truly is a powerful tool in dementia care, and we're proud to be using it in meaningful ways every day.

Cruise Week Day 6 – Spa Bliss & Captain’s Gala 🌊🎩
We began our day with a relaxing Spa at Sea — soothing scents, hand massages, and herbal teas. Then we dressed to impress for the Captain’s Gala, with cruise bingo, dancing, and formal portraits! What a fabulous day at sea! 💅🍾🛳

Cruise Week Day 5 – Journey to Japan 🇯🇵🌸
This afternoon we set sail to serene Japan with an armchair adventure through Kyoto, followed by decorating our own glowing paper lanterns. A peaceful and beautiful day on board! It might look like they are asleep but this is actually a guided meditation!
