It's Friday again, you have made it through the week. 😃 Focus on the positives this weekend and set yourself up for a great start the the week. Good things are approaching as we look forward to the release of lockdown measures later this year, take this time to appreciate the positive side of lockdown. It has been a difficult experience but there is always a positive side, maybe you enjoyed spending extra time as a family or you may have used the extra time to learn a new skill or maybe you rekindled your love for an activity you used to enjoy. Positivity is powerful, it has the ability to change your mindset if you let it. Enjoy the friday feeling! 🤩💖

This afternoon I have scattered the positive salt dough decorations around the Brinsworth area. I will be sharing more as I scatter them more widely around the rotherham area during the next week. I am very pleased with these as I have already recieved some positive feedback from individuals who have found them. I am so grateful to learn that they are being appreciated and look forward to sharing more. Thank you to everyone for following and responding to my posts. 😍🤩🥰😊 @ Rotherham

Positivity has power! I have written on the back of each of my saltdough circles and I am going to garnish them so that I am able to hang them outside without ruining them. To make your own the recipe is on my page

These are my salt dough creations. I have really enjoyed painting and decorating each and every one of my creations. I decorated them with bright colours to encourage positivity. It was great to keep myself busy and get creative, and the family can join in as well. My sister even had ago (the Skull and hat were mad by her). Keeping busy and doing something relaxing is good for mental wellbeing and this activity was really good for that, especially when listening to my favourite music. These great little creations can be kept for yourself or given to friends and family as a gift or a little reminder that you are thinking of them even if you are not with them. 🥰❤🧡💛💚💙💜
I would love to see other peoples creations.

I have a purpose for these saltdough creations which I will talk about later on.

Activity number 2 is salt dough. Salt dough is very simple to make and great fun. It can be used like playdough or can be left to harden so that you can keep your creations. It is a great activity to do as a family and anyone can enjoy it.
Making this salt dough has been great and reminds me of doing activities together when I was growing up. It is great to make with small children because they can be fully involved and there is nothing in the dough to harm them if they get it in their mouth. All you need is 3 simple ingredients and some imagination. Our creations are currently in the oven and I can't wait to have a look at them once they have hardened.
❤️ ❤️
