Children under 6 are now routinely offered the MMRV vaccine as part of the NHS childhood vaccination programme.

MMRV replaces the existing MMR vaccine and adds protection against chickenpox, alongside measles, mumps and rubella.

You don’t need to do anything — your GP will contact you when your child is due.

We have become aware that our Anima system was open for part of the day yesterday(New Years Day) when it should have been closed.
Anima have sent us the following e-mail:
We’re writing to inform you of an issue in how Anima handles Bank Holidays, which meant your Anima may have been open to patients today when it shouldn’t have been.

As soon as this was identified, our on-call engineering team investigated, built a fix within 60 minutes, and deployed it across all customers 67 minutes later.

The issue is now fully resolved.

We’re very sorry for the disruption this may have caused, and particularly that it happened at the start of the New Year. Thank you for your understanding.

With minus temperatures forecasted, we have triggered our Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP), providing emergency shelter to anyone who is identified as sleeping rough to help them stay safe.

If you’re concerned about someone sleeping rough in our borough, you can report them to us by:

We have regular outreach service across the Borough and will aim to respond to any alerts in a timely manner.
