🎶 Music for Dementia Day at Park Lane Healthcare 🎶

Today, our amazing Wellbeing Coordinators from across all Park Lane Healthcare homes came together for a special Music for Dementia Day!

It was a fun, interactive, and educational event where we explored the incredible impact music can have on those living with dementia. We learned how music can access parts of the brain that are often untouched by the condition—unlocking memories, boosting mood, and enhancing wellbeing.

The day included a hands-on session with exciting new musical equipment and techniques, which our coordinators are now excited to bring back and use in their own homes with residents.

Music truly is a powerful tool in dementia care, and we're proud to be using it in meaningful ways every day.

✨ We had a truly magical day at Moorgate Care Village! ✨

Our residents were treated to an amazing visit from a magician who brought smiles, laughter, and a touch of wonder to our afternoon. 🪄💫

It was extra special sharing the experience together in our beautiful new function room — a lovely space for making memories and enjoying time as a community.

Residents at Moorgate Lodge were treated to an exclusive sneak peek — and a celebratory drink — in our brand-new function room! While the official opening is set for 23rd July, we were just too excited to keep this beautiful space under wraps any longer.
