Making pizzas today, residents had been talking about how much they enjoyed the pizza party so we had to make some ourselves! 🍕

We had a lovely chilled out ‘Paint and Sip’ afternoon where we took our inspiration from the northern lights. I think these ladies can be very proud of what they achieved!

A fabulous afternoons entertainment yesterday with lots of dancing and singing.

Today we played cup and balls games ⚽️ The residents clearly enjoyed the reaction game most, with fierce competition! We practiced our memory with the colour arranging game, and finished with some hydrating lemonade pong 🏆

Last week, Moorgate Lodge held its very first Champions Meeting — and we’re so pleased with how it went!

We had successful sign-ups across some incredibly important areas of care:
💙 Dignity & Respect
💙 Compassionate Care & End of Life
💙 Safeguarding
💙 Nutrition & Hydration

Some of our amazing staff even signed up to champion more than one area, showing just how passionate our team is about delivering outstanding care.

Our champions have now received details to enrol on their chosen courses and will soon be sharing a short bio about why they chose their champion role. These will be displayed around the home so everyone can see what we’re working towards and the positive impact we hope to make together.

A huge thank you to Josh, Kathleen, Jill, Annie and Judith for their commitment so far — we’re incredibly grateful 🌟
