Calling all local knitters — we need your magic! 🧶🪡

Our incredible volunteers come into the hospital every week to sell books and handmade knitted items, raising vital funds for our charity. Last year alone they raised over £8,000!

Their stall is now running very low, and we’re calling on our fantastic community to get their knitting needles at the ready to help support a worthy local cause.

We’re in need of the following items:
🩷 Knitted or crocheted baby cardigans
🩷 Knitted or crocheted blankets
🩷 Knitted or crocheted toys like teddy bears
Please note these items are to sell to raise valuable funds to enhance patient care, they won't be used on hospital wards.

💛 A friendly note: we’re not currently able to accept knitted hats — we have hundreds in stock already — so cardigans, blankets and teddies are the items that will make the biggest difference right now.

If you’d like to knit for us, we’d love to hear from you.
💬 Please get in touch, and we can chat through what we're in need of and how your knitting can support your local NHS charity.
