Light-up bonnets, flashing bunny ears, LED decorations and other Easter novelties can be great fun. But these – and many cheap toys – are powered by button batteries that can badly hurt or kill a small child if swallowed.

So, if you buy button battery powered items, check the battery compartment is secured with a screw or similar fastener to prevent children gaining access. If it isn’t secure please keep it out of reach of children.

From September 2025, 15 hours childcare for eligible working families will increase to 30 hours.

If you currently receive 15 hours as working parents, just reconfirm as usual and the code will work for the 30 hours offer in September, providing you remain eligible.

This is aimed at women 32 weeks or more to give information about what to expect during labour, birth and the postnatal period.

Are you a parent or carer of a young person with additional needs and/or disabilities? Join us for a welcoming and supportive evening meet-up every Thursday from 5:30-7:00pm at Dunelm Café, Canklow (S60 2XL).

🤝 A great place to chat with other parent carers who share similar experiences
☕ Beverages available to purchase from the café
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Young people are welcome with adult supervision

I started this company after 20 years within the NHS, spending over a decade and a half working as a clinical educator for a local trust. I have a passion for education and believe that investing in people and providing an excellent standard of education and training is the key to improving the care our patients receive.

All of our staff are health professionals by background whom share the same passion and vision for training and education. Most still work within the healthcare sector, some are university lecturers and some are retired healthcare staff, whom have a breadth of knowledge on our subjects and whom still want to impart and share the decades of knowledge they have accrued, to inform the workforce of the future, I believe these staff are a fantastic resource for our future generations.

I believe that the vision can be achieved through working in partnership with local companies nationwide, ensuring you meet your individualised training needs with minimal impact upon your service provision.
