Our application to open a ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ฉ๐ก๐š๐ซ๐ฆ๐š๐œ๐ฒ ๐ข๐ง ๐Ž๐ฅ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐‹๐š๐ง๐ž went all the way to the NHS national appeal authorityโ€” but it was ๐ซ๐ž๐ฃ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐ž๐.โฃ

Hello, Waverley community! We have some important news to share.

Earlier this year, Singhs Medical Ltd submitted an application to open a new community pharmacy in Waverley-Olive Lane Pharmacy-to bring essential pharmaceutical services right to your doorstep. We know this community was promised access to services like a pharmacy as part of local development plans. Unfortunately, the NHS recently declined our application, putting Waverleyโ€™s access to local pharmacy services in serious jeopardy.

Now, weโ€™re left with no choice but to appeal the decision and we need your support๐Ÿ’ช. Without strong backing from the local residents, thereโ€™s a real risk our appeal may fail, and Waverley could miss out on having a community pharmacy altogether. Imagine a future where Waverley's new health centre opens... but without a pharmacy nearby to even fulfil a prescription!

๐Ÿ’ฌ This page will be dedicated to sharing updates and hearing your views, so please follow us, share your thoughts, and let us know if youโ€™d be willing to help. Every voice matters, and together, we can make the case that Waverley needs this pharmacy. Over the coming weeks we will be sending out detailed questionnaires to residents, which we will be using as evidence to submit to the NHS. Prior to that weโ€™ll be conducting simple polls on local resident groups so we can understand initial levels of support.
