Who enjoys a game of bingo?
And who’s a fan of Irish bingo?

Here at Broadacres, we love all kinds of bingo and always have a wonderful time playing together.

We followed this with a few more enjoyable games, keeping the fun going.

To finish, Jeffrey delighted us by sharing one of his short stories.

We didn’t get much done today due to hospital appointments but even at the hospital we made the most of the time out.

Before that tho we learnt some facts about animals.

Some were rather funny.

One in particular why do pigs wag their tails.

Nicks reply below.

It’s actually the same as dogs, excitement and happiness.

Who doesn’t love it when the sun comes out? ☀️

We certainly made the most of it here at Broadacres, with everyone enjoying a little fresh air, some much-needed vitamin D, and a refreshing cold drink.

Later on, Lynn and Bushy took a trip into town to catch up with friends and enjoy a quick game of Irish bingo. It was lovely to hear how well he’s looking—such wonderful feedback for the team here 😊

“Today, eight residents enjoyed a visit to the hairdresser, while three residents went out shopping. Everyone also had the opportunity to enjoy some fresh fruit, which was well received.”

Winning raffle tickets ♥️

Today we held our Easter Fayre, which was enjoyed by all.

Residents had a lovely time browsing the stalls, purchasing clothes, handmade gifts, and, of course, plenty of delicious cakes.

Our raffle was also drawn, adding to the excitement of the day.

Although we were unfortunately let down by the Easter Bunny, his two little helpers stepped in and ensured every resident received an Easter egg.

We are delighted to share that we raised £200, which will go into the residents’ fund to support future activities.
