Some swelling evident due to necessary technique but this will subside over next day or two and all lip clients leave with our complimentary lip ice pack and repair cream ❤️

‼️ DON’T BE FOOLED INTO THINKING SUNBEDS ARE SAFE OR PROVIDE HEALTH BENEFITS.

⚠ Sunbeds are a Group 1 carcinogen — the highest cancer risk category. They increase the risk of both melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer, at any age. The younger you start and the more often you use them, the greater your risk.

‼️ DON’T BE FOOLED INTO THINKING SUNBEDS ARE SAFER THAN THE SUN: Sunbeds emit UVA at much higher intensities to speed up tanning. UVA penetrates deeper into the skin, causing cumulative, largely irreversible damage, significantly increasing the risk of skin cancer — including melanoma, the most serious life-threatening form.

‼️ DON’T BE FOOLED INTO THINKING SUNBEDS PREPARE YOUR SKIN FOR THE SUN: A “base tan” is a sign of damage. Using sunbeds before sun exposure simply adds to that damage — and increases it further if you then sunbathe.

‼️ DON’T BE FOOLED INTO THINKING YOU NEED SUNBEDS FOR VITAMIN D:
Vitamin D is produced by UVB, not UVA. Most sunbeds emit UVA, so they don’t effectively boost vitamin D. Safer sources include diet, supplements, and limited natural sunlight.

‼️ DON’T BE FOOLED INTO THINKING SUNBEDS MAKE YOU LOOK BETTER:
UVA is responsible for up to 80% of the visible signs of skin ageing. Sunbeds accelerate this process, leading to wrinkles, sagging, and premature ageing at a younger age.

🚫 Sunbeds are banned in some countries due to the inherent health risks and they are currently illegal for under-18s in the UK.
