From your initial call, we are here to assist you from bringing your loved one into our care and being with you throughout your journey, assisting you to make all necessary arrangements and if appropriate, erecting a memorial in their name. Funeral Service will be held on Monday 1st December 2025 at Clyde Coast and Garnock Valley Crematorium at 11a.m. All are welcome to attend.

Benfield, Paul;

Peacefully at home on 15th November 2025 after a long hard struggle, bravely borne. Paul, beloved partner of Doreen, a much loved dad of Eva, loving son of the late Fred and Grace Benfield and brother of Neil.

A private funeral service will take place on Thursday 27th November 2025, all are invited to join with the family afterwards at The Glenburn Hotel at 12 noon.

Peacefully at Thomson Court on 12th November 2025. Annie (Anne) McDonald McAlister née Martin. Beloved wife of the late James McAlister, late of Kerrytonlia Farm. A much-loved mother of Duncan and the late Jim, an adored gran of Maria, Craig and Jessica. A dear mother in law of Leona and Janet, a loving sister of Jean.

Funeral service will be held at Isle of Bute Parish Church on Saturday 22nd November at 12 noon. Interment thereafter at Kingarth Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Alzheimer Scotland.

Funeral service will be held in Isle of Bute Parish Church on Tuesday 25th November at 11am and thereafter at Clyde Coast & Garnock Valley Crematorium, Largs at
2pm. All are welcome to attend.

At times, we’re reminded that family isn’t only made up of people. Our pets hold a special place in our hearts — they bring comfort, loyalty, and unconditional love every single day. Recently, we said goodbye to one of our much-loved companions, Barney, and his loss has been deeply felt by all of us.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Beloved Pet Funeral Care for their compassion and professionalism throughout. Their gentle care and attention to detail brought great comfort at a very difficult time, and we are truly grateful.

Grief comes in many forms, and the love we share with our animals is every bit as real and enduring as any other bond. Barney will always be part of our family — remembered with love and gratitude. 🐾
