Our Easter opening times are:

Good Friday: 9AM - 5:30PM
Easter Saturday: 9AM - 4:45PM
Easter Sunday: Closed
Easter Monday: Closed

If you are due to pick up your prescription on Monday then please collect on either Friday or Saturday.

There is a potential Yellow Weather Warning on Saturday late afternoon (I think from 6pm) due to high winds and stormy conditions so we would advise coming in earlier on Saturday just in case our locum pharmacist needs to leave slightly earlier due to the weather and any change to ferry status.

We are open as normal today from 9am – 17:30.

With the ferries ⛴️ being off however we’re not expecting any medication deliveries till tomorrow.

Please find attached our opening hours over the festive period.

We are closed Christmas day/Boxing day & 1st January, open 2nd January for 1 hour to cover the festive rota - all other days are open as usual.

If you’re due to collect a weekly prescription on a Thursday or Friday then please collect these beforehand.

Flu vaccines still available at Bute Pharmacy.

If you’re not eligible for the NHS flu jab this year but still want protected, we can help. We have around 15 flu vaccines left for anyone still looking to get protected this winter.

We’re offering private flu vaccinations in the pharmacy for £20. It’s quick, done by a pharmacist, and saves you having to travel off the island.

Just pop in, give us a call, or message the page and we’ll get you booked in.

Unfortunately due to the nature of the failure, texts sent between the evening of this Tuesday and up till 5 minutes ago cannot be resent - however all prescriptions received are ready as usual. 👍

⚠️update - the issue has been traced back to failed BT routers which is “causing mayhem” across the NHS Highland network…we will let everyone know as soon as this is fixed. In the meantime, all prescriptions received are made up and ready for collection.

With the weather still unsettled, we would advise anyone who doesn’t urgently need their medication today that it may be safer to wait until Monday when weather conditions should be much improved.
