We have had a number of customers asking about the recently publicised news of a dramatic price increase from Eli Lilly (producer of Mounjaro pens, an effective treatment for weight loss).

We would like to inform our customers of the following:

✅ Our prices will stay the same for all existing patients throughout the month of September. We have managed to obtain a supply at current pricing to ensure we can do this for all customers.

✅ Our prices will need to rise after this due to the price rise by Lilly, however perhaps not as much as is reported in some media outlets. Some strengths will be more affected than others.

✅ If you’re affected by the price increase, then please come and speak to us, we can discuss other options and ways to support you in your weight loss.

✅ We are still taking on new patients, so if it’s something you’d still like to explore then we can accommodate.

Your treatment is important to us, and we’ll continue to take every step possible to ensure a solution is found that’s right for you.

We would like to thank Jenna Mcfarlane and the girls for our nomination for the Ice Bucket Challenge (yes it’s back 🙈).

We were delighted to take part for a subject as important as mental health. I’m sure we all know someone who has struggled at some point.

Just a reminder to all of our customers that we will be closed on Monday 5th May.

If anyone usually collects a regular prescription on a Monday please collect on either the Friday or Saturday. We will be open our usual hours both of these days. We will reopen on. Tuesday 6th May as normal.

We would like to inform everyone of our opening times over the Easter period.

We are open all our normal opening hours with the exception of Monday 21st April (Easter Monday) - where we will be closed.

If you regularly receive a weekly Monday delivery, then we will deliver two weeks of medication this Monday (14th). If you generally collect medication on Monday from the pharmacy then this will be available to collect on the Friday or the Saturday beforehand.

We are open!

The pharmacy will be open our usual operating hours today (9am-4:45pm).

Currently Hanson’s are assessing the damage to the chimney stack above Fraser Gillies and have fenced off part of the area to ensure public safety

There seems to be NHS network issues across the country today still so if non urgent it may be easier to wait until Monday however there is access to the pharmacy for anyone in need of any urgent medication today.

If you are looking to order medication you can also give the pharmacy a phone or order via our website if this is easier currently.

!! Edit - access to the pharmacy restored with affected area fenced off

⚠️ Important Update

Unfortunately due to structural damage of a building caused by the storm the corner of Montague Street will be closed until the building can be assessed in the morning.

I would urge everyone to stay clear of the area until it is deemed safe.

If anyone has any urgent medication issues or concerns then please contact myself in the pharmacy on 01700 502362 and I can try my best to give relevant advice and guidance. I will be in the building to help in anyway I can

Red Weather Warning Update

We will be open today as per our normal opening hours, for any emergency medication requirements.

We will unfortunately be only able to offer a very limited delivery service due to the weather forecast for after 10am when the red warning comes into effect and will be monitoring it closely.

We would advise any customer that is not in a desperate need of medication today to wait until tomorrow when the weather is to be much improved.

Bute Pharmacy’s belated Christmas Day/night out.

Didn’t realise we had a few darts sharks in the workplace, we might need to get a darts board for the pharmacy in the near future.

Not everyone could make it due to the winter lurgy but a great day had by all.
