My Introduction

My Bio I am Deryck Scott Cozens, owner and founder Validus Fit Coach. I am a Fully Qualified (Level 3 REPS) Personal Trainer, Sports Performance & Mindset Coach and most recently qualified in Swedish and Sports Massage Therapy (Dip.SMT). I graduated in 2010 with (BSc Hon) Degree in Sports Science after completing an HND in Fitness, Health and exercise. My mission is to help people become Healthier, Happier and a better version of themselves through personal fitness tuition, good nutritional guidance, mindset coaching and advice on better life choices. With over 15 years in the health and wellness industry my passion is to help individuals achieve their personal goals, attain peak fitness and most importantly sustainable long-term optimal health. My priority has always been to create a lasting change for my clients through education and support, helping them through each stage of their journey to allow them to transform their lives forever. I have a unique mobile PT business model where I can offer to train people either in the comfort of their own home or local outdoor space which makes it a much more personal 1:1 comfortable experience. I also offer online coaching utilising my Professional App that is available to signed up clients and paid membership. Throughout the year I run indoor and outdoor Bootcamps and fitness classes at various locations. Currently I am in partnership with an organisation that focuses on Active Schools for children across the Glasgow area including vulnerable groups, special needs and physical disabilities. I coach many sports teams where I have had the opportunity to develop my Sports and Swedish Massage services with some individuals from the teams. Looking to further develop my portfolio and soon to embark on a Strength and Conditioning course, this will equip me with even more tools to help others, which is why I came into this industry in the first place. I love what I do and I am grateful for each and every client and athlete that crosses my path and I have the opportunity to work with with the aim to continually master my skills as a Coach and a Sports Massage Therapist.
