At our practice, we recognise that early experiences don’t simply disappear they are often encoded within the nervous system continuing to shape thoughts, emotions and behaviour into adulthood.
Stored childhood trauma can present in a range of ways, including heightened anxiety, difficulties with emotional regulation, relational patterns or a persistent sense of threat even in objectively safe environments. These responses are not arbitrary; they are adaptive survival strategies developed in response to earlier experiences.
Our therapeutic approach focuses on carefully exploring these patterns within a safe, structured and clinically informed environment. By developing awareness of how past experiences are held in both mind and body, we support clients in reducing reactivity, strengthening regulation and building more adaptive responses.
This work is not about revisiting the past unnecessarily it is about understanding how it continues to influence the present and facilitating meaningful, evidence-based change.
• Trauma responses are learned and can be unlearned
• The nervous system can be supported to regulate
• Change is possible within a safe therapeutic relationship
If these patterns resonate, our service offers a professional and contained space to begin this process.
