Hey...I'm Kate and offer a range of massage, energy and talking therapies to help you in a private place in Gibside National Trust. You pay for the time but CAN have whatever you like. Mix and match...ie facial , neck and shoulders, energy...just whatever is going to benefit mostly on the day. A massage treatment has many benefits. It releases toxins from the muscles as well as increasing muscle tone. It promotes relaxation and is very beneficial to those suffering from tension, stress, physical pain and aches. The energy work provided is a non invasive treatment, it helps reduce mental and emotional stress. It is very effective for those suffering from anxiety, low moods and insomnia. When we are stressed, our bodies restrict energy flow or surpress bad energy within our body. This leads to stress as well as pain and illness. My relaxation technique helps cleanse the body of its negative energy and re-balances. This allows less stress and gives the person the ability to recover from emotional trauma. Energy work is connected to the emotions and feelings of the individual. I would like to help, support and educate each client to recognise, understand and acknowledge the source of their pain or discomfort and how to improve and aid their health and well being through massage and energy work. I will be working in a cosy Woodland Bothy within the beautiful grounds of Gibside National Trust. A logburner and heaters create extra warmth for your comfort. I charge £25 for 30 minutes and £40 for 1 hour. Entry to Gibside grounds is included. �
I offer All massage treatments from face to foot, talking therapy to help you understand your pain and an energy treatment which helps with anxiety, low mood, insomnia etc....you pay for the time but can mix and match so you can have whatever treatments are best for you on the day you arrive....I am very flexible which is why I don't have a specific treatment list....I cater to your individual mental, emotional and physical requirements. Hey All!!!! Hope all is good with you! Normality hoping to resume with the holidays over with ;)

Just a reminder regarding my prices...

I don't charge for an individual treatment, but I do charge for my time.

This can include several treatments at once...ie talking therapy, massage and energy work.

My prices include entry also to Gibside if needed.

So I charge at the moment...

£25 for 30 mins
£40 for 1 hour
£60 for 90 mins

This also includes voucher prices also and if you are a member of the NT.

Hi All, hope everyone is doing okay despite the heat 🧡

Just to say I'm taking a break from this weekend till 31st August so if anyone would like to book a treatment at the Woodland bothy Gibside - National Trust I'll be taking bookings from September onwards.

My hours will remain the same 11am till 4.30pm Monday to Saturday.

I cover all massage treatments and energy treatments for muscle pain, joint pain, sciatica, neck and back issues especially for those who suffer from lower back discomfort, anxiety, low mood, fatigue and insomnia...or...if you are just in need of some care and relaxation 😌

Free parking and 2 cafés on site to grab a beverage of choice and a sandwich/slice of cake etc 😋

The walk to the bothy from reception is around 20 minutes or there is a minibus for those who have a hidden disability or mobility issues.

It is £25 for 30mins and £40 for 1 hour...this includes entry to Gibside and you can have whatever treatment/s you like 👍

Happy Saturday All!!! 😊 Wishing everyone a tip top weekend ahead!

Just to say for those who are booked in at the Bothy at Gibside - National Trust next week...Burnopfield front street from the pack horse to the cenotaph (junction to Gibside) will be closed for a week.
You may have to drive to the Hobson and drop down Syke bank...
Sorry if this is going to be an inconvenience to anyone.

For those who have booked in see you next week, please also be mindful that it is the summer holidays and the carparks could be busy.

Wishing everyone a good weekend ahead despite the weather which is predicted to be utterly awful...great for the environment though! 🌳...all the animals in the wild will be happy too.. 🐿

No doubt June and the Burnopfield Gardening Team will have a deserved break from watering All the plants and flowers. It's been an unusual hot spell the last few months which has caused lots more work in the village 🌷🪻🌼 Top job everyone involved 👏 👍

Hope the thunder and lightening tomorrow (if it presents itself) doesn't bother too many of you and your pets...

Hi my name is Kate and I work as a Holistic Therapist in a cosy, Woodland Bothy in the beautiful grounds of Gibside National Trust.

I don’t have a specific price or treatment list. I do provide All Massage treatments from Face to Foot for those in physical pain, discomfort or just want to ease any unwanted tension and knots. I also provide a specific Energy treatment for Anxiety, Low mood, Insomnia etc which is very calming and relaxing for those who have a busy mind.

So you pay for the time and can choose as many treatments as you like within the time frame. 30 MINUTES - £20 1 HOUR - £35 ** A deposit of £15 is required by bank transfer to secure the booking.
