Relaxing & Beauty Therapies

Relaxing & Beauty Therapies We work with you to find solutions to your pain. She has been running a successful business since 1988.

Faye continues to update her training which now includes such elements as customer care and business management on a regular basis. She has lectured students in beauty therapy, make up and holistic therapy at University College Birmingham. Faye began her training in make up and manicure with the International Health & Beauty Council. She continued her training to cover facial skin treatments using

a variety of direct current devices to achieve improved, clearer and firmer complexion. Alongside this she trained in hot and warm wax hair removal which led to her BSD (Beauty Specialist Diploma - IHBC). Later she trained with Sterex in electrical epilation 'Electrolysis' - the only permanent method of hair removal. Following on from this she gained an ITEC Anatomy & Physiology and then IIHHT Aromatherapy massage. Since starting her own business she has trained with a range of skin care companies to include Almay, Germaine de Capuccino, Dermalogica, RVB, Blackmores and Essentially Yours. Faye's body treatments have expanded to include more specialised massage such as lymph drainage, body toning and slimming, Indian Head Massage and lately seated massage for those unable to lie on a couch. Recently she has completed her Personal Training level 3 which allows her to advise exercise to strengthen and mobilise muscles & joints.

Top wellness therapy of the week:
A Blended, Clearing Aromatherapy.

After chatting to the client an essential oil blend of Ginger, Geranium, Cinnamon and Frankincense was used to continue working on clearing an emotional and energy blockage/weakness.

The client has been working through this since a very sudden shock to their everyday life which
made significant changes.

Sometimes these blockages manifest physically as tense/podgy/cold areas of muscle tissue.

Using aromatherapy massage, essential oils and a blend of other techniques including manual lymphatic drainage, these areas can be 'mobilised' and encouraged to breakdown and clear away through the lymphatic and blood circulation.

On this occasion a simply exercise was also recommended.

I look forward to the feedback. It all helps to make each therapy specific to each client🩷

When life’s busy, it can be tricky finding time for wellbeing-boosting activities. But finding moments for movement might be easier than you think. Why not use the time you spend waiting to move more? When you’re waiting for the kettle to boil; for your kids to come out of school; or for a bus to arrive. These moments will add up!
