The first Wednesday in August is known at ‘black Wednesday’ as the new cohort of doctors are let loose….

I remember this day well. Appointed to a gastrointestinal ward, I flipped between audacious confidence and the paralytic fear of inadvertently killing someone.

Thankfully I made it through with the support of superiors and slowly, and laboriously, made it through my foundation training and into further training.

I initially trained in surgery - specifically orthopaedics - I LOVED BONES, and the mechanics of the body just made sense to me: However, the intensity on my quality of life (and anxiety levels) were too much and I decided to train as a GP instead.

Being a GP was joyful at times but never my passion. I turned my passion to alternative and holistic medicine, left the NHS to work privately, left the country to go to paradise (Australia) but it never fulfilled me.

Aesthetics was something I knew I loved but I suppressed it because I felt it was perceived as superficial. Until I went on my own journey and realised it was LIFE CHANGING. And ultimately; my true passion.

I’ve never been so geeky. I write, I’m in research, and I’m mentoring and teaching. What a journey it’s been - and I couldn’t be happier 💫🩷

This 43 year old patient wanted a refresh.

She was on a mission to feel confident in a new and exciting phase of her life and she put her trust in me as the aesthetics doctor to get her there.

She has an incredible energy and aura but she felt her appearance didn’t match how she felt on the inside. So we looked at her unique features - positive and negative - and planned a full face dermal filler treatment that would soften the negatives and ENHANCE her natural beauty.

Using premium dermal fillers, we treated her tear troughs, cheeks, lips and chin to contour and soften.

She is absolutely ROLLING around Leamington; like the superstar she is, inspiring other women through her own incredible work and I am so privileged to have been part of her journey!

Women make choices about their appearance for themselves - not for others.

What a privilege to work such an incredible brand 💫

I’ve been a faithful user of the Revanesse range of dermal fillers in clinic for nearly 2 years now. After years of trialling various brands on the market, I was impressed by their purification and manufacturing processes, the reduction in side effects like late onset swelling and immune reactions, and the range of fillers with different properties available.

To now be part of the faculty and represent the brand is an honour. Such a supportive team, whether you’re a novice or experienced injector, they’ve got a huge amount of support to offer.
