Today is going to be a scorcher ☀️

The best thing to do in the hot weather is stay out of the direct sun, especially during the hottest part of the day, between 11am and 3pm, as UV rays are strongest during these hours.

Please make sure you are staying safe in the sunshine! 😎

A yellow heat health alert has been issued by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) from today until Tuesday 15 July.

Stay safe in the hot weather by planning ahead, keeping yourself cool and keeping out of the sun between 11am to 3pm, when it is at its hottest.

Make sure to check on vulnerable family, friends and neighbours, who may be at higher risk of becoming seriously unwell.
