One of our residents spoke to us this afternoon about the D day landings in Normandy 1944. Her husband landed at Gold Beach at 7.30 in the morning and she spoke about her experience. She showed the residents the military cross he received for his service and the letter sent by George VI.This was a very proud and emotional moment for her to share with us all and we are very grateful ❤️

Residents thoroughly enjoyed making their own bonnets and became quite competitive 😂😁 was a great afternoon, and a sing a long with Frank 🎶🎵🎤
