Blissful Tribe Dance for Joy, Women's Circles, Baby Massage, Baby Yoga, The Mother's Fire, Nature Connection for families

Blissful Bébé offers Baby Massage, Baby Yoga, Baby in Nature and Story Massage courses and The Mother's Fire all year round. The International Association of Infant Massage course is for parents to learn the art of nurturing touch and communication through the eyes, smiles, and contact between them and their baby. The Birthlight Baby Yoga course is for parents to learn gentle movements with songs for baby and enjoy some exercise together focusing on each other, before relaxation time. The Blissful Bebe in Nature course is for parents to enjoy bonding with their baby in a sling whilst forest bathing, enjoying mindfulness practices and co-create their tribe in the woods. The Story Massage course is for parents to learn a series of strokes alongside rhymes, songs and stories with their babies, toddlers and children of all ages. The Mother's Fire is for mums with children of all ages to connect with nature, around the fire in the ancient way we always have done, weaving, crafting, singing, sharing and learning in the woods.

Spring Equinox | Ostara

The dance never stops.

Dark and light.

The sweet spot.

The time for balance.

The call to open.

The chance to unfurl.

The song of the birds.

The quickening.

The beauty of blossoms.

The dawning.

The seeds of hope.

This year we celebrated as women: new stirrings of potential, the lightness of the days, the warmth of the sun on our skin. The chance to always start afresh. The wisdom of the earth always holding it all.

We gather as women in circle every month and we remember our connection.

I’m so incredibly grateful to hold this space and this incredible sisterhood through the seasons.

It's school half term this week.
It's not stopped raining this year.
It's feeling like an uphill struggle some days isn't it?

Take a break tomorrow night and come and dance with us for a whole hour of YOU time.
Leave the world behind you for a few songs.
I can almost guarantee you'll feel better for it.
And maybe slightly more able to face the world outside again afterwards.

When I teach baby massage courses, my focus is not on the babies.

Don’t get me wrong, I love babies.

But I am here to support you, the parents.

To serve you warm cups of tea.

To listen to your stories.

To teach you skills to empower you as a parent.

To remind you that YOU are the expert in your baby.

To give you tools to help you soothe baby’s colic / gas.

To hold space for your precious 1:1 bonding time.

To learn your name as well as your baby’s.

To open discussions where you realise you are not the only one wondering… is it normal to cry with the baby sometimes?

I trained to teach the International Association of Infant Massage course in 2016 and I’ve been privileged since then to witness hundreds of families as they get to know each other in the overwhelming early weeks of newborn life.

Seeing the parents fall in love with their babies, kissing their little feet, feeling confident in knowing what to do when their baby has tummy ache and trusting themselves as the one who knows their baby best….

I have had a few requests for this recently and I am so happy to say I will be running a Blissful Bebe massage course starting on Thursday.

This is a gentle, cosy space for parents to bond with their baby. We will build on massage strokes over 5 weeks and learn a colic routine.

All babies welcome from birth to 12 months.

Held in a beautiful studio barn in Blackham, less than 15 minutes from Tunbridge Wells, Edenbridge, East Grinstead, Forest Row and Crowborough.

Hi tribe,

It is Kate here. It’s time for me to step into the light again!

🌹 I started running groups over 10 years ago when I was a new mum and I absolutely love the feeling of being together in common unity… building community.
🌹 I love dancing and music, and after years of never daring to use my voice… I am not ashamed to say you may now find me singing to plants and trees without a care in the world
🌹 After I started teaching dance a decade ago, I got the bug for sharing passions and started training in everything I loved. I opened circles sharing the love for baby massage, baby yoga, story massage, babywearing, breastfeeding and babies in nature.
I also trained to be a forest school leader and mother’s firekeeper because I felt the call to hold spaces in nature.
🌹 I love learning and since I met Alice 8 years ago, I can’t get enough plant wisdom in my life. Herb club is the best club!
🌹 I love being in circle with women and the feeling of raising each other up. I want all women to know that there is someone rooting for them.
🌹 I am ready to step up to support more women this year and am currently on a deep dive journey aligning to my purpose
🌹 I am not keen on being on camera and this is me stepping out of my comfort zone to see what magick lies the other side of fear.

A warm invitation for mums (with or without your children - as you wish) to join us in the ancient woodland and forage to make medicine together over the fire 🔥

Our morning will be spent meeting plants, singing plant songs and making medicine balms to take home to soothe any bites, bumps and stings 🐝

We will gather in Blackham, free parking on site 🚗

🌸 Beltane 🌸

This time of rising energy, this portal of light, this gateway for transformation has been huge, for me personally.

I am still integrating all of the elements and experiences from this time. I spent the day of 1st May on my own sacred pilgrimage, starting with washing my face in the morning dew in my garden and then trusting the call to journey to the magic of the bluebell woods, then to gather offering water from the local spring and to invite plant friends to journey with me. I pulled a card in the woods and it asked, “how are you being called to step up and lead?”

As I reflected on the answer to this and my unfolding path, I met first the May Tree herself, but in bright pink blossom. My current favourite hue, I gathered her small flowers as I sang the hawthorn song and filled a little basket. I thought about how much I love this tree. And what she teaches me. A man stopped to ask me what I was doing and then proceeded to say how happy it made him seeing me forage and sing.

I carried on my journey to a florist to buy some raffia to weave for crowns. She asked me what the wild flowers were in my basket and when I explained about the May tree and Beltane she asked me where she could find this special tree.

The sweet medicine of the hawthorn was finding its way into new hearts even from my basket. As I gathered in circle that evening with the beautiful women who meet here, we foraged white hawthorn blossoms together and then wove our raffia crowns to fill with hawthorn blossoms as we sipped on fresh lilac tea. We were all crowned goddesses by the end of Beltane night.

I have been pondering the Beltane Bluebell question for this whole window of Beltane and am getting closer to an emerging answer…

I think it’s about bringing people into connection. To themselves. To each other. To their children. To the plants and trees. To the sacred cyclical wisdom of life. My heart is here for it 🩷

🌺 Summer circles 🌺

These circles are for any women who want to feel part of a supportive and strong sisterhood. You can find your tribe here.

We gather together with a theme of seasonal celebration. There is the chance for gentle crafting, pulling oracle cards, tuning in, reflecting and chatting.

My intention is for this circle to be nourishing and calm, a space to be with other women and to express yourself if you so wish, with a craft that can keep your hands engaged in creative flow whether you feel like chatting, listening or just being... it is all welcome here.

We meet for our Summer circles in Blackham by candle light on:
Thursday 5 June 7-9pm
Thursday 10 July 7-9pm
£40 for the two circles including organic refreshments (free parking on site)

🌸 Spring circles 🌸

We circled up under the full moon with the rising energy of Spring emerging in all of us after a long wintering of deep rest.

We celebrated the Spring Equinox welcoming this regular rhythm of meeting, the balance of light and dark and the impetus to start afresh. It was glorious.

I brought in some tools from my study with and we discussed the cyclical wisdom showing up in our lives, you can see her altar cards in the middle of our circle here.

The circle is fully booked for this season and we next gather to celebrate Beltane on 1 May.

⭕️ Goddess circle ⭕️

Today I am feeling the moment of rising energy for the emergence. It’s been a long wintering and it’s time to allow the roots to deepen and shoots to appear.

Our circle has kept me grounded and inspired for years and I love what it unveils in us. It feels so powerful to gather as women and honour our inner Goddess through the seasons. Seasons of life. Seasons of the earth. Cycles of the sun. Cycles of the moon. Cycles of the divine feminine.

We return with the energy of the Spring Equinox on Thursday 13 March 7-9pm and then we gather again in our circle on Thursday 1 May 7-9pm for Beltaine.

The investment is £40 for the 2 spring circles and includes organic chocolate and herbal tea offerings.

We meet by candlelight and in the softness of support for each other. We always have a hand craft, oracle decks, a central nature altar and a chance to speak and be heard. We witness and honour exactly where we are in that moment. This is a chance to exhale and tune in to you.

Please be in touch if you would like to join us in Blackham. This circle is a sacred space which helps us connect to ourselves, each other and the cycles of wisdom.

The Blissful Bébé way

Blissful Bébé offers baby massage, baby yoga and story massage courses for parents. This is a space to bond with your baby, relax together and nourish your needs. My aim is to to help spread the joy, love and beauty of this quality time spent relaxing together, getting to really read baby’s cues and enjoying plenty of skin-to-skin. The immediate benefits of positive touch can include deepening the bonding process, helping with wind and colic as well as promoting deep sleep. All of my courses are a fabulous way for parents to empower themselves, to learn invaluable skills, to help reduce PND and to meet other parents to help build their own support network.

I trained with the International Association of Infant Massage in 2016, was awarded the Best Practice Award for Story Massage in 2019 and trained with Birthlight in 2019. I am also a trained Breastfeeding Peer Supporter volunteer since 2017.
