Stephen brought incredible energy to Rusthall Lodge, filling the home with upbeat songs and an atmosphere that had everyone buzzing. 🎤🎶
His lively performance had residents clapping, singing along, and even dancing.💃🕺 Stephen’s enthusiasm is infectious — you can feel the joy ripple through the crowd with every note.

We’re delighted to enjoy the talents of two wonderful professionals who help keep our residents active and smiling.
💪 Physique Fitness Training with Henry who has been with us for a number of years, leading well-loved sessions full of energy, encouragement, and familiar routines.
🌟 Sarah Domoney is a new addition to our activity programme, bringing her own style and variety that residents are already embracing.🤩
Whether it’s with Henry or Sarah, the sessions are always filled with music that residents love to move along to. Beyond the fun, exercise brings real benefits: improving strength, flexibility, and movement. While also lifting spirits, boosting mood and promoting independence.

Today is an opportunity to recognise the value, experience, and perspectives that older people bring to our communities.
At Rusthall Lodge, we see every day how much there is to learn and appreciate from the lives and stories of our residents. This day is a reminder to listen, to share time together, and to celebrate the role older people play in shaping who we are. And to appreciate that life can still be fun 🤩🤩

We had such an uplifting afternoon with the fabulous Rosie's Retro Rhythms who brought the golden days of music back to life with her wonderful voice ✨. She sang so many much-loved songs from yesteryear, and our residents were quick to join in — singing along, clapping, and even swaying to the music. 💃🕺
Moments like these go far beyond entertainment. Music can spark happy memories, lift mood, and create a beautiful sense of togetherness. Seeing our residents smiling, reminiscing, and singing songs from their younger days reminded us of the power of music to connect across generations 💛.

Last week, we were delighted to welcome Helena, Lucy and Sophie from CT Travel, who kindly joined us for a day of volunteering here at Rusthall Lodge 💛.
Their enthusiasm and willingness to get involved shone through — whether it was helping in the laundry and dining room, lending a hand to Simon our gardener or supporting our activities team. They brought energy, kindness and enthusiasm to every task🌸🌿🍴
Although we couldn’t share this sooner (our week was wonderfully busy with our Party and MacMillan Morning 🎉☕), we wanted the chance to say how much we appreciated their time and support.
It was a pleasure to have them with us, and we are so grateful for the difference they made during their visit. 💐

☕💚 Macmillan Coffee Morning at Rusthall Lodge 💚☕
Many of us — whether through our own journey or that of loved ones — have been touched by cancer, and by the incredible support of Macmillan.
Today, our home was filled with the warmth of friendship, the aroma of fresh coffee, and the sweetness of homemade cakes, all shared in honour of this vital cause.
It was a chance to come together, to support, and most importantly give HOPE.
Every cup poured and every slice enjoyed helped to raise awareness and funds for Macmillan’s life-changing work.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us, baked, donated, and supported — your kindness makes such a difference 💛🍰

Residents, families, and friends enjoyed a taste of the tropics with refreshing cocktails, delicious food, and lively music that filled the room with colour, laughter, and dancing.🍉🌻💃
Parties like this bring more than just fun — they truly enrich life here at Rusthall Lodge: they lift spirits and spread positivity sparking memories of summers gone by.🌴
