Our residents had a wonderful time rolling, shaping, and decorating salt dough into all sorts of playful designs 🐾🎨 From little pets that occupy our garden pots, to unique creations.

We’ve had a lovely day ..😊
This morning our residents enjoyed a flower arranging session, filling the room with colour, creativity and beautiful scents. The residents gorgeous arrangement’s are brightening up the whole home.🌷🌼🌹
This afternoon, we were treated thanks to the wonderful voice of Jon McDevitt who entertained us with a brilliant selection of familiar songs that brought back fond memories and filled the home with joy🎤✨ 💐

🎨✨ Creativity at Rusthall Lodge ✨🎨
We have been busy the last few weeks but our time spent making art and crafts is really important. Beyond making something beautiful,
Every brushstroke and handmade craft is a reminder that creativity truly enriches our wellbeing. ❤️ 🖌️ The benefits of creativity are endless:
💡 Stimulates the mind and memory
😊 Boosts mood and wellbeing
🤲 Improves dexterity and coordination
💬 Creates conversation and connection
🌟 Builds confidence and a sense of achievement. Wether it’s trying something new or rediscovering an old hobby, arts and crafts bring colour, creativity, and community into our days. Always with good humour. Some of our recent decorated plant pots were given as gifts, handmade gifts are the best kind of gifts, creating more happiness 💞🪴

We had the pleasure of welcoming the talented Olivia Grace Piper who filled Rusthall Lodge with beautiful show tunes and musical classics 🎶.
Our Residents,visitors and staff loved listening to these timeless songs from the past, which brought back many fond memories and plenty of smiles. Olivia also kindly sang in the corridor so that some of our Residents could listen from thier rooms.🥰

Daniil Magerov joined us for an incredible Violin performance this afternoon. His music brought such a wonderful atmosphere to our home — with gentle classics and uplifting tunes. Music in care homes is more than entertainment — it brings important benefits for wellbeing. It lifts spirits, creates social connection and transports us back to cherished memories. Thankyou 🎻🤩.

We had the most wonderful visit from Timmy The Tiny Horse 🐴✨
This little star trotted in with the biggest heart, bringing endless smiles to our residents. Therapy animals like Timmy have a special way of lifting spirits, sparking memories, and creating moments of pure joy.
From gentle strokes to cheerful giggles. He was a reminder of the happiness that animals bring into our lives. Thank you to Timmy and his wonderful humans Katie and Isobel for sharing your time, care and kindness with us here at Rusthall Lodge 💕 😍

✨ A huge thank you to Jade Chamberlain for her brilliant singing performance today! 🎶 She brought the best of the 50s and 60s to life, and our residents loved every moment. The smiles, the singing along, and the uplifting atmosphere made it such a special afternoon. 💖
We can’t wait to welcome you back again soon, Jade! 🌟

🌞🎉 What a day! Our Summer Fete was a huge success – packed with smiles, stalls, music & community spirit.

A big thank you to the Mayor for opening the event, our incredible volunteers & staff, the amazing Little Shop Productions for the live music 🎶, and everyone who donated items & prizes. 💛

Enjoyed by residents, visitors, staff & volunteers alike – we couldn’t have asked for more!😃
