It was a fun, uplifting morning and a lovely experience for everyone who joined us. Thank you for entertaining us — it was thoroughly enjoyed by all. 🤶🎄

This afternoon we were delighted to welcome the Choir from St Paul's Church, Rusthall , who came to share a beautiful selection of Christmas carols with our residents and visitors.🎶
The harmonies were genuinely stunning — filling the room with warmth, joy, and that unmistakable festive feeling. It was one of those moments where everyone simply paused to listen, smile, and soak it all in.
A truly uplifting festive afternoon, enjoyed by everyone. Our thanks to the choir for bringing such kindness, talent, and Christmas spirit to Rusthall Lodge 🎶✨

We had a really wonderful afternoon with Micheal Lack yesterday, who treated us to a relaxed jazz session filled with saxophone melodies and beautifully sung Christmas favourites 🎷🎄
His talent shone throughout, and it was clear how much our residents appreciated both the music and the atmosphere he created — the kind of afternoon that leaves everyone feeling uplifted and festive. 🤩

Residents, visitors, and staff all came together to enjoy a wonderful party filled with great conversation, plenty of laughter and a fantastic atmosphere throughout.

There’s something quietly satisfying about working with real greenery, and our residents really enjoyed a relaxed afternoon making Christmas centre-pieces and decorations from foliage.
Using winter greenery gathered from our own garden. Our residents, volunteers and Wellbeing staff loved creating as the tables slowly filled with festive creations.🍃
A calm, creative session, plenty of conversation, and some beautiful handmade decorations to enjoy throughout the season 🎄💚

We had a lovely visit today from Sunnyside Preschool, who came along to spend the morning with us and bring a some Christmas cheer 🎄
The children sang Christmas songs for us, helped make paper chains together, and filled the room with smiles and chatter.🧑‍🎄 Bringing different generations together is so special, sparking new connections and shared fun. 😊
We also very much enjoyed the mince pies they kindly made — a thoughtful (and very tasty!) treat.
A big thank you to the children and staff for taking the time to visit — it was a really special way to spend the festive season.
