It’s time to vote for Andy!
When Andy Mcfadyen was named as Royston`s Local Hero in 2023, we thought he had reached the pinnacle of his career. However, this week we heard that he has been nominated for the Funeral Director of the Year Award!
Andy has worked at Newlings of Royston for 18 years, looking after families in his relaxed and friendly style, whilst ensuring that every detail is taken care of. In view of his extensive experience, Andy has become the resident trainer for our new Funeral Arrangers, gently guiding them through the process with patience and good humour.
Andy is known locally for his community work, and has raised nearly £50,000 for local charities and good causes through a wide range of activities, ranging from wing walking and climbing Mount Kilamanjaro to arranging a local talent show and pantomime. He was a deserving winner of the Royston's Local Hero Award and we would love to see him being rewarded for his dedication to the funeral profession too.
If Andy has helped you in some way, and you would like to see him win this award, please spare a few minutes to vote for him. You will be required to give your reasons for voting, but we hope you'll agree he is worth it!
