🧘Time to give you a bit of an update on what's been happening in the world of Michele Wellness recently.
I've been busy behind the scenes running:
* A half hour introduction to Meditation session for a local brownies group. The children were really up for it and it was lovely to see them practising abdominal breathing and box breathing before they embarked on a lovely guided meditation based on the seaside. Of course, they all enjoyed trying out all the instruments at the end and making as much noise as possible 😆
* A 1 hour corporate meditation for a science company in which we focused on progressive muscle relaxation, breathwork and expanded our consciousness using an eagle metaphor, plus the healing vibrations of the crystal singing bowls to complete the session.
* Tonight I'm off to deliver a private 1 hour Guided Meditation session for a running club. This session will have a big focus on diaphragmatic breathing, which is a great technique to activate the Vagus nerve and parasympathetic system, leading to deep relaxation, better sleep and can even reduce blood pressure and heart-rate.
