🌿 Feel-Good Friday: How Sound Helped Me Reconnect 🌿
There was a time in my life where I felt stretched too thin—juggling motherhood, work, and supporting children with additional needs. I was constantly on alert, anxious even in the quiet moments.
That’s when I discovered something unexpected: sound wasn’t just for performance. It was medicine.
🔊 The frequency 174Hz is known for reducing pain—both physical and emotional. When I first used it during a vocal toning session, something shifted. It softened the edges of my overwhelm. That’s when I realised: sound could hold me. Ground me. Bring me home.
This week is also Garden Wildlife Week, and I’ve found it’s often in nature—among birdsong, bees buzzing, the wind through leaves—that we hear the earth’s natural music. These sounds are healing frequencies. They remind us to pause and breathe.
It’s from this blend of personal experience and professional training that I created Song and Sound—to help others like you reconnect with yourself through sound, breath, voice, and rhythm.
💗 If you’ve been feeling stressed, burnt out, or just in need of some real space to reset—I’d love to invite you to my upcoming event:
🎵 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗦𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣 🎵
🗓️ Sunday 22nd June | 🕜 1:30–3:30pm
📍 Seth Ward Community Centre (Sound Bath Only Option: 2:30–3:30pm)
No singing required—just a willingness to explore how vibration, breath and voice can support your well-being.
🧘♀️ You’ll experience grounding breathwork, body percussion, gentle vocal toning (with affirmations), and a guided Sound Bath Meditation using singing bowls, guitar, lyre, handpan, and the calming frequencies of 174Hz.
Let’s create a safe, nurturing space where you can rest, recharge, and remember who you are beneath the noise. 🌬️💚
