β¨ Before and After ONE Facial β¨
β¨ This is the magic of a Glycolic Peel!
A glycolic chemical peel facial is a cosmetic skin treatment that uses glycolic acid, a type of alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from sugar cane, to exfoliate the outer layers of the skin.
𫧠What it Does
β’ Exfoliation: Removes dead skin cells on the surface.
β’ Cell turnover: Stimulates new skin cell growth.
β’ Brightening: Helps reduce dullness, uneven tone, and hyperpigmentation.
β’ Anti-aging: Minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
β’ Acne benefits: Can help unclog pores and reduce breakouts.
𫧠How the Procedure Works
1. Preparation β Skin is cleansed to remove oils and impurities.
2. Application β A controlled concentration of glycolic acid (in clinic we offer 40% and 70% which is medic only) is applied to the skin for a short time.
3. Reaction β The acid penetrates the upper layer of skin, breaking down the bonds that hold dead cells together.
4. Neutralization β The peel is neutralized with a solution or water to stop the acidβs action.
5. Aftercare β Mask, Radio-frequency Red Light therapy, Moisturiser and sunscreen are applied since skin will be more sensitive.
𫧠Recovery & Aftercare
β’ Mild redness, tingling, or peeling may occur for a few days.
β’ Sun protection is crucial because the skin is more vulnerable to UV damage.
β’ Avoid harsh scrubs or active ingredients (like retinoids) for a few days.
𫧠Who Itβs Good For
β’ People with dull skin, fine lines, sun damage, acne, or uneven pigmentation.
