Sam really enjoy a day with Bear our therapy dog. We read our local paper and even had a go at the crossword too. At Bright Adult Day Care we take our time to normalise our day especially with a smaller group.

We had a go at string painting. Well the internet said it was easy, let me say it's not that easy still we did have a laugh with this activitie, we managed to get very messy too! but we were pleased with the outcome 😀 at Bright Adult Day care it's not about being perfect it's about having a go and enjoying the experience, getting our creative juices flowing.

It's very rare to just be Sam alone,but with the sun it called for alfresco dining, so off we went to the Waterside pub for lunch lovely too, accompanied by Bear who Sam adours. At Bright Adult Day we love an impromptu day out in the sun.

We had a lovely morning making smoothies and ice cream. Then had fish and chips from our local chippy a perfect good Friday. Happy Easter from all at Bright Adult day care.

With the glorious weather we headed to Daventry Country Park accompanied by Bear. Simply beautiful if a tad cold but we warmed up with a hot drink. At Bright Adult Day Care we love a sunny walk.

Today we celebrated sourdough day. Eith a taste session of different sourdough breads. Our finding it was very chewy not one we would rush out to buy again. We made a fresh fruit salad for lunch too. After a lovely meal we had a go at carpet golf. At Bright Adult Day Care we like to pack in a full day.

A men's day today. All helped to make our lunch. Lasagne, potato wedges and salad. Thanks gents sharing a simple task, became an enriching experience. At Bright Adult Day Care we can always help each other.

What a lovely day we took our therapy dog Bear to our local park, we are so lucky it's just around the corner. Having a dog makes walking a pleasure plus the social side other dog owners stop for a chat. At Bright Adult Day Care we all benefit from fresh air and gentle exercise. With more rhubarb we made a fool topped with crumble. Must say it was blooming lovely with some having seconds!

Phew a busy day today! Starting with arm chair exercises, we attempted cha cha slide and warmed ourselves up so much we put our air conditioning on! Bear our therapy dog takes exercise all in his stride choosing to rest on Carol. Lunch made by our manager Karen sausage and mash yummy. In the afternoon we all finished eggs in prep for our Easter Egg Hunt, then a relaxing quiz, with memories of the things our parents would say to us!a fantastic group today at Bright Adult Day Care.
